There are about 173942 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in United States. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
This study will evaluate exhaled volatile organic compounds (VOC's) in the breath of participants with stage 1 lung cancer, their house-mates, and matched controls. The goal of the study is to identify VOC fingerprints that are only detectable in those with stage 1 lung cancer.
This is a phase Ib study to evaluate safety and tolerability of dual checkpoint inhibition (DCI) of durvalumab (anti-PD-L1) and tremelimumab (anti-CTLA-4) with SBRT in the treatment of oligometastatic NSCLC. This study will examine the sequential delivery of SBRT to all disease sites followed by combination of durvalumab and tremelimumab for patients for whom the goal is ablating all known sites of disease. The investigators anticipate that for many participants this will be the first line-therapy. Participants who have received prior-platinum-based chemotherapy and/or any line of prior chemotherapy are eligible. Prior immunotherapy treatment is not allowed.
Children with a neuroblastoma diagnose and central nervous system (CNS)/leptomeningeal metastases will be given up to 2 rounds of intracerebroventricular treatment with a radiolabelled monoclonal antibody, 131I-omburtamab to evaluate efficacy and safety
This is an investigator-initiated study comparing two types of FDA-approved anti-depressants, Escitalopram and Venlafaxine, to placebo, in order to determine if these medications have positive effects on cognition and memory in those who are between the ages of 50 to 89 years old, who are cognitively normal, and who have subjective memory concerns. Research has shown that those who are cognitively normal but report subjective cognitive impairment are more likely to progress to mild cognitive impairment and Alzheimer's disease in the future. Anti-depressants such as Escitalopram and Venlafaxine have been shown to stimulate production of neurons in memory-sensitive areas such as the hippocampus. Therefore, the investigator is researching whether these drugs would help cognition in those with subjective cognitive impairment, and would help to prevent cognitive decline and eventual Alzheimer's disease.
The purpose of this study is to demonstrate that the rate of clinically relevant complications associated with CyPass Micro-Stent placement and stability using the CyPass 241-S applier, as determined at 36 months in the postmarket setting, is less than the pre-specified performance target, which is based on experience with the CyPass Model E applier in COMPASS trial TMI-09-01 (NCT01085357).
This is a randomised, double-blind, placebo-controlled, multicentre, multinational, prospective study in patients with operable chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension (CTEPH) prior to pulmonary endarterectomy (PEA) with high preoperative pulmonary vascular resistance (PVR). Patients will be randomised in a 1:1 ratio to receive riociguat or matching placebo for 3 months before undergoing PEA. The primary objective of this study is to assess the efficacy of riociguat on preoperative PVR compared to placebo in patients with operable CTEPH.
This is a Phase III, multicenter, open-label, randomized study designed to evaluate the efficacy, safety, and pharmacokinetics of cobimetinib plus atezolizumab compared with pembrolizumab in treatment-naive participants with advanced BRAFV600 wild-type melanoma.
This pilot clinical trial studies the side effects of irradiated donor cells following stem cell transplant in controlling cancer in patients with hematologic malignancies. Transfusion of irradiated donor cells (immune cells) from relatives may cause the patient's cancer to decrease in size and may help control cancer in patients receiving a stem cell transplant.
