There are about 173942 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in United States. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the changes in clinical and imaging outcomes following arthroscopic treatment of chondral lesion(s) by Radiofrequency-Based debridement or Mechanical Debridement in subjects 18-50 years of age.
This study evaluates the use of ABI-1968, a topical cream, in the treatment of anal precancerous lesions in adults with and without human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infection
The aim of this study is to determine whether a Brief Mind-Body Bridging Intervention for Suicidal Ideation (MBB-SI) will result in short or longer-term reduction of psychological factors associated with suicidal ideation (SI) and/or suicide-related behaviors (SRB's) compared to Treatment as Usual (TAU).
Pain control for newborns has made significant improvements over the last 30 years. The use of narcotics remains the standard of care for neonates undergoing minor and major surgeries. Narcotics, however, are associated with adverse effects such as respiratory depression, prolonged intubation and withdrawal symptoms. Acetaminophen (Tylenol©) has been proposed as an adjunct to reduce narcotic use but current evidence from well designed studies in newborns and premature infants is limited. This study will randomly assign neonates undergoing a surgery to either morphine plus acetaminophen or morphine alone for pain control. The subjects will be followed for 72 hours after the operation and evaluate the benefits of acetaminophen for pain control.
Prospective, single-center, single-arm, non-randomized study to assess the safety and efficacy of the FLEX Scoring Catheter in patients with atherosclerotic peripheral artery disease in the superficial femoral and popliteal arteries.
This is a multicenter, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study evaluating the safety, pharmacokinetics, and pharmacodynamics of 12 weeks' administration of SGM-1019 in subjects with fibrosis stage 1-3 (F1-F3) NASH.
This project proposes to evaluate the potential for nurses to assess if a patient who uses an ambulatory aid at home is fit to use one in the hospital, and the effect that providing ambulatory aids to hospitalized patients will have on reducing hospital falls, with a matched pair cluster-randomized controlled trial. Hypothesis 1: Of the patients who use an ambulatory aid at home, patients who receive an ambulatory aid in the hospital will have a lower fall rate as compared to patients who do not receive an ambulatory aid in the hospital. Hypothesis 2: After adequate training, nurses will be able to accurately assess whether or not patients need an ambulatory aid when compared to the gold-standard assessments of physical therapists.
The purpose of this extension study is to evaluate the safety, tolerability, and pharmacokinetics of repeat administrations of SRP-5051 (vesleteplirsen) in participants with Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD) who participated in studies of SRP-5051.
Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) is a common disorder with serious consequences that remains underrecognized, with >80% of OSA patients undiagnosed, and undertreated due to inadequate treatment options. The development of additional treatments for OSA, such as pharmacotherapy, are critically needed. The collaboration between Regeneron and Sanofi are funding this project. Regeneron will be providing the drug and the contract will be with Regeneron. Both companies are involved as it is a collaboration across the companies.
This study is a prospective, interventional, open-label, single arm, non-randomized trial treating 30 patients with peripheral or mixed neuropathic corneal pain at their baseline exam and following 45 days and 90 days of daily use with the TrueTearâ„¢ ITN device.
