There are about 173942 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in United States. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
The goal of this clinical trial is to evaluate oxygenation in the colon in people with acquired vascular abnormalities in the proximal colon.
The purpose of this research is to study the feasibility of a specific training program for the breathing muscles (inspiratory muscle training) and the effects on how breathing is regulated during exercise in typically developing children.
The main purpose of this study, performed under the master protocol W8M-MC-CWMM (NCT06143956), is to investigate weight management efficacy and safety with LY3841136 compared with placebo in adult participants with obesity or overweight. The study will last about 64 weeks and may include up to 13 visits.
SHAG is a text messaging-based HIV prevention program designed for cisgender sexual minority boys and men 13-20 years of age across the United States. Investigators will test it against a control group that receives messages about healthy lifestyle.
Airway swelling and edema after cervical spine surgery(CSS) especially in prone position is the direct cause that prohibits patient from extubation. Anterior cervical discectomy and fusion causes severe peri-vertebral soft tissue swelling that was associated with increased postoperative airway complications. Facial, lip and tongue edema in combination with the cuff leak test and risk factors are currently served as the bases on whether patient can be extubated after spine surgery. Direct visualization of the larynx and inside trachea post-operatively to assess the airway directly using flexible fiberoptic scope as well as to quantify the degree of airway edema has not been investigated. Investigators are comparing airway before and after cervical spine surgery for any degree of narrowing in the airway using flexible fiberoptic scope. Investigators are also studying the risk factors affecting the degree of narrowing in the airway if any
A prospective, multicenter, observational study to evaluate the correlation of Molecular Residual Disease (MRD) detection using circulating tumor DNA guided test to pathological complete response (pCR) after neoadjuvant chemotherapy (NAC) in stage I-III triple negative breast cancer (TNBC). Results from this study aim to improve MRD detection and disease outcomes for future patients.
The purpose of this study is to determine the safety and feasibility of weaning from the incubator at a lower post-natal weight at 1600 grams. Our hypothesis is that early weaning from the incubator to a crib/bassinet is safe and may result in a decrease in length of hospital stay while maintaining appropriate growth velocity. Specific outcomes the investigators will evaluate are the length of hospital stay and growth velocity at early weaning.
This clinical trial evaluates the impact of synthetic cooling agents in combustible cigarettes on smoking perceptions and use. Menthol, a natural chemical, is a cooling agent that increases nicotine dependence among smokers. Menthol cigarettes largely contribute to the huge burden that smoking puts on public health. Approximately 43% of adult smokers smoke menthol cigarettes. Regulatory agencies have begun a ban on menthol. In response to the ban, the tobacco industry has introduced synthetic cooling agents as a flavorless replacement to provide the same cooling effects as menthol. Information gained from this trial may help researchers determine how the addition of synthetic cooling agents changes the appeal, abuse liability potential, and respiratory toxicity profile of combustible cigarettes.
The purpose of this study is to o evaluate the antidepressant efficacy of the PEA in Bipolar Depression and the association between antidepressant response with endogenous cannabinoids and cytokine levels
To learn if revumenib (also known as SNDX-5613) can help to control leukemias associated with an increase in expression of HOX genes.
