Panitumumab and Pembrolizumab in Combination With Neoadjuvant Chemotherapy for the Treatment of Stage III-IV Triple Negative Breast Cancer

This phase II trial tests whether panitumumab and pembrolizumab in combination with standard of care chemotherapy before surgery (neoadjuvant) works to shrink tumors in patients with stage III-IV triple negative breast cancer. Panitumumab is a monoclonal antibody that may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Immunotherapy with monoclonal antibodies, such as pembrolizumab, may help the body's immune system attack the cancer, and may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Chemotherapy drugs, such as paclitaxel, carboplatin, doxorubicin, and cyclophosphamide work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. Giving panitumumab and pembrolizumab in combination with neoadjuvant chemotherapy may kill more tumor cells in patients with triple negative breast cancer.

A Placebo-Controlled Study of Auxora for the Extended Treatment of High- Risk Patients With Critical COVID-19 Pneumonia

Up to 240 patients with confirmed COVID-19 pneumonia with a baseline imputed PaO2/FiO2 ≤200 receiving oxygen therapy via a high flow nasal cannula (HFNC) or non-invasive ventilation (NIV) will be enrolled at up to 40 sites. All patients will receive three doses of Auxora. Patients who continue to have severe hypoxemic respiratory failure at 48 hours will be randomized to receive three additional doses of Auxora or three doses of placebo. All patients will be followed for 60 days after enrollment into the study.

Topical CBD for Musculoskeletal Pain

Rationale: CBD is commonly being used as an over-the-counter treatment for musculoskeletal pain; however, no clinical trial has been performed to establish efficacy of CBD in humans for musculoskeletal pain. Hypothesis: CBD is more effective than placebo for relieving pain and improving patient-reported outcomes for musculoskeletal pain. Study Design: The study design with be a double-blind, randomized controlled trial with crossover. Treatment will be blinded to the subjects and investigators. Patients will be randomly assigned 2 weeks of the CBD or control and then crossover to the other condition for 2 additional weeks. Patients will apply the CBD or control cream to the affected area twice daily (approximately every 12 hours) for 1 hour. Subjects will be advised to observe for physiologic changes, skin changes, or other adverse effects.
