Start date: November 10, 2023
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The goal of this clinical trial is to obtain safety data and exploratory glycemic control data from use of an at-home closed loop control (CLC) system (t:slim X2 with Control-IQ Technology) with periodic parameter adjustments driven by an AI-based Advisor system in young children with Type 1 Diabetes. The main endpoints this study aims to answer is the safety and efficacy of the use of the AI-driven pump parameters. Participants will use the study system (pump and Continuous Glucose Monitor) in closed-loop mode for eight weeks.

NCT ID: NCT06015282 Active, not recruiting - Influenza, Human Clinical Trials

The Celljuvant Study: A Phase 3 Immunogenicity and Safety Study of aQIVc Vaccine in Adults Aged 50 Years and Older

Start date: November 3, 2023
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

This is a Phase 3, randomized, parallel-group, comparator-controlled, observer-blind, multicenter study of immunogenicity and safety in approximately 7700 male and female adults aged 50 years and older (approximately equally split between two age groups: 50-64 years; 65 years and older), who are healthy or have stable comorbidities that increase their risk of complications from influenza infection. Three lots of aQIVc will be evaluated for consistency and pooled for the comparison with the 2 control vaccines. Subjects will be randomly assigned to receive 1 of 3 lots of aQIVc, QIV1, or QIV2 in a 1:1:1:2:2 ratio (for a 3:2:2 ratio for aQIVc, QIV1, and QIV2). The study will have a treatment period (Day 1 to Day 29) and a follow-up period (Day 30 up to Day 181); a subset of 770 subjects will be followed up up to Day 365.

Study type: Interventional

The objective of this study is to investigate the efficacy of daily consumption of a fermented milk containing LcS in reducing the frequency of bowel movement with hard or lumpy stools in generally healthy U.S. adult population with intermittent bowel movements producing hard or lumpy stools.

NCT ID: NCT06013475 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Non-metastatic Castration-resistant Prostate Cancer

An Observational Cohort Study to Describe and Compare the Use of Darolutamide, Enzalutamide and Apalutamide and How Well These Work in Men With Non-metastatic Castration-resistant Prostate Cancer (nmCRPC) in Real World Settings

DEAR-EXT
Start date: August 31, 2023
Phase:
Study type: Observational

This is an observational cohort study in men with non-metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer who received their usual treatment, which is 'Androgen receptor inhibitors' (ARIs) including darolutamide, enzalutamide, and apalutamide. The main purpose of this study is to collect data on the length of time men with nmCRPC continued treatment with darolutamide, enzalutamide, or apalutamide as prescribed by their doctors. Researchers will only include men who had not been treated with any new type of medication that blocks the action of hormones. The data will come from an electronic health record database called Precision Point Specialty (PPS) Prostate Cancer Electronic Medical Record (EMR) for men in the United States of America. EMR data will be verified and supplemented via patient chart review. Data collected will be from January 2019 to September 2023. .

NCT ID: NCT06011759 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Suicidal Self-directed Violence

Maintaining Implementation Through Dynamic Adaptations (MIDAS) Suicide Prevention 2.0 Clinical Telehealth

MIDAS SPCT
Start date: November 1, 2022
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Scientific advances are constantly leading to better treatments. However, it is quite challenging for healthcare systems, including VA, to ask very busy providers to change the way they practice. The MIDAS QUERI program helps providers improve the way they treat VA patients. This project will focus on increasing referrals to the Suicide Prevention 2.0 Clinical Telehealth (SP 2.0) initiative through the delivery of Academic Detailing and LEAP (a team-based quality improvement program). SP 2.0 provides accessible, evidence-based suicide prevention treatment to all Veterans with a history of suicidal self-directed violence or preparatory behaviors in the past 12 months.

NCT ID: NCT06010784 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Diet, Healthy Growth

'Food, Fun, Fresh, Family' Program for Healthy Eating and Growth for Elementary-age Children.

FUEL
Start date: September 6, 2023
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The goal of this community-based randomized trial in elementary-aged children and a caregiver (parent/guardian) is to test the effect of providing families with produce and grocery store gift cards (family support) in conjunction with an after-school program for physical activity and healthy eating on improving children's overall diet, in comparison to the child only attending the after-school program without the family support. Participating families will: - receive weekly produce bags delivered to their home, recipes, and gift cards to a local grocery store (family support) - the child will attend the after-school program during the school year Researchers will compare the child's diet and eating scores with those in the after-school program alone.

NCT ID: NCT06006013 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Adrenal Cortical Carcinoma

Cabozantinib in Combination With Atezolizumab for the Treatment of Patients With Locally Advanced, Metastatic, or Unresectable Adrenal Cortical Cancer

Start date: March 5, 2024
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This phase II trial tests how well cabozantinib in combination with atezolizumab works in treating patients with adrenocortical cancer that has spread to nearby tissue or lymph nodes (locally advanced), that has spread from where it first started (primary site) to other places in the body (metastatic), or that cannot be removed by surgery (unresectable). Cabozantinib inhibits receptor tyrosine kinases, which are receptors commonly over-expressed by tumor cells. This may result in an inhibition of both tumor growth and blood vessel formation, eventually leading to a decrease in tumor size or extent in the body. Immunotherapy with monoclonal antibodies, such as atezolizumab, may help the body's immune system attack the cancer and may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Adding cabozantinib to atezolizumab may be more effective at treating patients with adrenal cortical cancer than giving these drugs alone.
