There are about 173942 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in United States. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
A Phase 3, 22-week, Multi-center, Randomized Withdrawal Study of ampreloxetine in Treating Symptomatic Neurogenic Orthostatic Hypotension in Subjects with Primary Autonomic Failure
The purpose of this study is to assess if there is decrease in cough during flexible bronchoscopy and endobronchial ultrasound when different modes of lidocaine administration are used. The modes of administration being evaluated are topical, nebulized and atomized.
Preliminary studies show that giving a "cocktail" of intravenous vitamin C, vitamin B1, and steroids to critically ill patients with septic shock may dramatically improve mortality in those patients. These studies suffer from inadequate design due to lack of controls and blinding to prove the causal effect. Our goal is to conduct a prospective blinded randomized control trial to investigate whether this intervention truly effect outcomes.
The aim of the study is to compare the performance of the O3 cerebral oximeter and sensor to a 510(k) cleared NIRS (Near-Infrared Spectroscopy) device on neonatal subjects based on data collected from the cutaneously placed forehead sensors. Due to the design of the systems, the devices will be used serially instead of concurrently. Because of this timing, changes in patient state may not be reflected in measurements collected by both devices.
This is a phase 2, open label study to assess umbralisib in combination with ublituximab in participants with treatment naïve Follicular Lymphoma (FL) and Small Lymphocytic Lymphoma (SLL).
A prospective, multicenter, randomized, concurrently controlled, noninferiority clinical trial to compare the safety and effectiveness of instrumented Bio2 Vitrium Cervical Interbody Device in anterior cervical discectomy and fusion (ACDF) with structural allograft bone and local autologous bone graft in treating patients with a symptomatic degenerative cervical disc disease at one level from C3/C4 to C7/T1.
This study seeks to find out if an early intervention of providing directed sexual health education and treatment for gynecologic cancer patients will improve patient outcomes as compared to routine clinic visits.
The purpose of this study is to evaluate goblet cell degranulation following acute use of the Intranasal Tear Neurostimulator in participants with dry eye.
This phase II trial studies how well docetaxel or abiraterone acetate work when combined with androgen deprivation therapy (ADT) in treating patients with hormone sensitive prostate cancer that has spread to other parts of the body. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as docetaxel and abiraterone acetate, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. Antihormone therapy, such as ADT may lessen the amount of androgen made by the body. It is not yet known whether docetaxel or abiraterone acetate work better when combined with ADT in treating patients with hormone sensitive prostate cancer.
The investigators are comparing an indwelling catheter with intermediate duration local anesthetic to a single shot peripheral nerve block with long acting a local anesthetic (Exparel).
