There are about 173942 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in United States. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
Part II is a double-blind, randomized, parallel-group, placebo-controlled study. The primary objective of this trial is to determine the effective doses and treatment period of PDC-1421 Capsule in subjects with ADHD. The secondary objective is to evaluate the safety of PDC-1421 Capsule in subjects receiving PDC-1421 at various dose levels.
This is a multi-institution, open label, phase I/II study of Iberdomide, Carfilzomib, and dexamethasone (KID) in patients with newly diagnosed transplant eligible MM.
The goal of this cross-sectional study is to use diffusion-weighted imaging based tractography (DWT) to assess white matter (WM) pathways in treatment-refractory bipolar disorder (REF-BD) and treatment responsive bipolar disorder (RSP-BD) subjects compared to healthy controls (HCs). This project will include a prospective controlled trial to include 50 subjects with REF-BD, 50 patients RSP-BD and 50 healthy volunteers.
A Pilot Study to Assess the Association between Human Bioimpedance Measurements and Clinical Urodynamic Procedures
This is a multicenter, randomized, double-blind study of two treatment regimens for invasive candidiasis included candidemia. Subjects will receive intravenous echinocandin followed by oral ibrexafungerp (SCY-078) vs intravenous echinocandin followed by oral fluconazole.
This prospective, randomized, controlled, blinded clinical trial is designed to assess the incidence of all time and all types of wound-related complications following total joint arthroplasty (TJA) when two different types of topical skin adhesives are used to close the incision.
Children and adults with recurrent or progressive malignant brain tumors have a dismal prognosis, and outcomes remain very poor. Magrolimab is a first-in-class anticancer therapeutic agent targeting the Cluster of differentiation 47 (CD47)-signal receptor protein-alpha (SIRP-alpha) axis. Binding of magrolimab to human CD47 on target malignant cells blocks the "don't eat me" signal to macrophages and enhances tumor cell phagocytosis. Pre-clinical studies have shown that treatment with magrolimab leads to prolonged survival in models of Atypical Teratoid Rhabdoid Tumors (ATRT), diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma (DIPG), high-grade glioma (adult and pediatric), medulloblastoma, and embryonal tumors formerly called Primitive Neuro-Ectodermal Tumors (PNET). Safety studies in humans have proven that magrolimab has an excellent safety profile. Ongoing studies are currently testing magrolimab in adult myelodysplastic syndromes, acute myeloid leukemia, non-Hodgkin lymphoma, colorectal, ovarian, and bladder cancers. Herein we propose to test the safety of magrolimab in children and adults with recurrent or progressive malignant brain tumors.
This is a 2-part, phase 1/2, open-label, multicenter study designed to evaluate the safety and efficacy of fadraciclib (formerly CYC065) administered orally BID. This study consists of Phase 1 and Phase 2 components in subjects with Leukemia or Myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS) who have progressed despite having standard therapy or for which no standard therapy exists.
Total Joint Arthroplasty (TJA) has become one of the most performed elective procedures. While the results of this procedure are often consistent with high patient satisfaction and return-to-function, wound-related complications can contribute to high-cost "bundle busters". Following surgery, wound drainage or other wound complications can lead to increased cost and decreased patient satisfaction. Secure wound closure is an important step in preventing wound-related complications. The surgical incision should be closed in a manner that prevents the wound edges from separating which could lead to possible drainage and bacterial contamination of the incision. Traditional incision closure following TJA includes sutures. These sutures are then removed in the office. BandGrip is a wound closure device that can be used to approximate skin edges of wounds from surgical incisions and traumatic lacerations. It is a bandage-type patch with several small skin anchors that are used to hold the skin edges together. The clear microanchors are 0.029 inches in height and do not puncture through the dermis. There is no need for medical removal as the patient can remove the bandage.
This phase I trial studies the side effects and best dose of belinostat when given together with durvalumab in treating patients with urothelial cancer that has spread to other places in the body (metastatic) or cannot be removed by surgery (unresectable) and has spread to nearby tissue or lymph nodes (locally advanced). Immunotherapy with monoclonal antibodies, such as durvalumab, may help the body's immune system attack the cancer, and may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Belinostat is a potential anti-cancer drug, known as a histone deacetylase (HDAC) inhibitor, which means that belinostat stops the activity of HDAC enzymes (an enzyme is a protein that in small amounts can speed up a biological reaction). HDAC enzymes play an important role in cell growth and cell death. Giving durvalumab and belinostat may improve the body's ability to fight cancer.
