Peripheral Nerve Stimulation for Back

To assess changes in pain, physical function, health-related quality of life, and cost-effectiveness in patients with low back pain, without symptoms of radiculopathy, that have not responded to conservative or traditional interventional measures and are having a SPRINT percutaneous peripheral nerve stimulator placed as standard of care. Patients will be assessed periodically (by questionnaire) after the placement of the SPRINT, FDA approved 60 day, percutaneous peripheral nerve stimulator, targeting the bilateral medial branches at the suspected level of pain generation. Neither the manufacturer nor the FDA are involved or will have access to data from this study.

Eligible study population: nulliparous pregnant women between 37-40 weeks estimated gestational age with a breech presenting fetus and no contraindications to external cephalic version.

Effect of Progesterone on Testosterone Concentrations and Breast Development in Transwomen

- Purpose. The purpose of this research is study the effect of progesterone therapy on testosterone levels in transwomen who are currently on gender affirming treatment with estradiol. - Duration. It is expected that participation will last for 6 months (24 weeks). - Study Procedures. Participants will be asked to sign an informed consent, complete a medical history, have a physical exam conducted, have a fasting blood sample taken and asked to take a study drug once daily. - Risks. Some of the foreseeable risks or discomforts include temporary discomfort, bleeding, bruising and/or swelling in the arm from blood draw. There are no known direct risks with the use of Progesterone in Transwomen for gender affirming therapy. - Benefits. Some of the possible benefits that may be expected include increase in fat mass, increase in breast size/fullness, decrease in masculine hair patterns.

Patients will be treated until evidence of disease progression, non-compliance with study protocol, unacceptable major toxicity, at subject's own request for withdrawal, or if the study closes for any reason.
