There are about 15072 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Turkey. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
Although coronaviruses (CoV) cause mild infections in the community, such as colds, they can also cause more severe infections. There are many subspecies of coronaviruses that can pass from animals to humans and can be transmitted between humans. One of these subspecies is COVID-19 (severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2), SARS-CoV-2, and has made a worldwide pandemic from the beginning of 2020. In this process, going out of the house, going to the hospital and being in the hospital brings with it the anxiety to get sick. In the period when the feeling of motherhood begins at the end of birth, the hospitalization of the baby for any reason and the separation of the mother and the baby can be an additional source of stress. This study was planned to determine the anxiety and anxiety levels of mothers who had a baby in the NICU during Coronavirus disease pandemic and the factors affecting them.
In this study the goal is to determine the causes of concern among the patients who will undergo surgical operations and receive general anesthesia, to gauge their preoperative anxiety levels and to study the effects of the BATHE method on preoperative anxiety and patient satisfaction.
Dyslexia is described as a learning disability with a neurological origin. It is a widespread disease, characterized by difficulties in recognition of words, spelling, and decoding. Postural balance is the ability to control the center of gravity (CoG) on the support base. This control starts to appear at the beginning of the 15th months of life and reaches its maximum capacity at around 12 years with the maturation of visual, vestibular, and somatosensory systems. Static balance defines the postural control state in the maintaining position, while dynamic balance represents it during movement. Static and dynamic balance has been widely investigated and found to be impaired in different pediatric disorders such as cystic fibrosis, cerebral palsy, and spina bifida. There is also apparent evidence of deteriorated balance in children with dyslexia. Although quite a number of studies investigated balance impairment in individuals with dyslexia, only one study was interested in the effects of a postural training program and found significant improvements. That study addressed such improvements to brain plasticity, however, did not investigate the reading performance simultaneously. The aim of this study was to demonstrate the changes in static and dynamic balance, reading performance, and quality of life after a six week after a scheduled exercise program in children with dyslexia.
The demographic characteristics, satisfaction survey evaluations and emotional reactions of the relatives of the patients who are admitted to the intensive care unit and who have an expected mortality rate higher than 50% according to the Apache-2 scoring system will be investigated.
This is a Phase III, randomized, parallel-arm, placebo controlled, double blind, multicenter study assessing the efficacy and safety of durvalumab versus placebo following SoC chemotherapy in patients with completely resected stage II-III NSCLC who are MRD+ post surgery
In our study; Anxiety and depression levels, socio-demographic characteristics of the pregnant women who were admitted to our hospital between 25.04.2020-25.07.2020 and treated with the diagnosis of covid 19, and the change in anxiety and depression levelsWİTH Beck Depression and Anxiety Score after the disease regressed are planned. (Beck depression scale contains 10 questions and a total of 1 to 100 points is obtained. High score indicates that depression and anxiety are high.) 0-16 points = mild depressive symptoms 17-29 points = moderate depressive symptoms 30-63 points = severe depressive symptoms
Purpose: It is the examination of the Infant Movement Motivation Questionnaire of the validity and reliability of Turkish. Pretest: Participants were informed about the aims of the study and fill in a consent form. They filled in a paper version of the Turkish translation of the Infant Movement Motivation Questionnaire. The parents had to answer questions about the content and meaning of the IMMQ items and sociodemographic. Validation Study: Participants were informed about the aims of the study and filled in a consent form. The questionnaires of the survey filled in at the early intervention center. About 30 minutes were needed to answer the 27 questions of the IMMQ, Ages and Stages Questionnaire, and sociodemographic.
De Quervain tenosynovitis is the most common cause of lateral wrist pain. It occurs with stenosis of the abductor pollicis longus and extensor pollicis brevis tendons in the first dorsal extensor compartment of wrist. When these muscles are contracted, thumb extension is observed, so repeated ulnar deviation and thumb extension exacerbates pain. It is seen more commonly in middle-aged females and in the dominant hand. Although it has been shown that fibrous tissue deposits cause thickening of the tendon sheaths, the etiology of de Quervain tenosynovitis is unclear. The prevalence of de Quervain tenosynovitis has been reported to be 0.5% in males and 1.3% in females. Diagnosis of de Quervain tenosynovitis is based on clinical examination. The Finkelstein test is the provocation of pain with wrist ulnar deviation. Plain radiography may be useful for differential diagnosis. Conservative treatment of rest, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAID), and physical therapy is applied first, then there may be a need for corticosteroid injections, and in resistant cases, surgery. Neural therapy (NT) is a type of regulatory therapy using local anesthesia for the management of chronic musculoskeletal pain. NT includes local therapy (eg,infiltration of trigger points) and segmental therapy (eg, sympathetic ganglia, nerve roots, and peripheral nerves) . To the best of our knowledge, the effect of neural therapy on patients with De Quervain tenosynovitis has not been previously evaluated. Therefore, the aim of this study was to highlight the effect of neural therapy on this condition.
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy of loncastuximab tesirine (ADCT-402) combined with rituximab compared to standard immunochemotherapy.
To evaluate the effectiveness of Nurse Led Transitional Care Model (TCM) on the functional autonomy, quality of life and rehospitalization rates of elderly patients undergoing open heart surgery.
