The research was planned as a randomized controlled experimental study in order to determine the effect of continuous breastfeeding support provided to mothers through WhatsApp messaging application on breastfeeding. Research Hypotheses H0: Continuous breastfeeding support provided to mothers through WhatsApp messaging application has no effect on breastfeeding. H1: Continuous breastfeeding support provided to mothers through WhatsApp messaging application increases the rate of exclusive breastfeeding. H2: Continuous breastfeeding support provided to mothers through WhatsApp messaging application increases the breastfeeding duration of the mothers. H3: Continuous breastfeeding support provided to mothers through WhatsApp messaging application reduces the rate of mothers giving their babies other foods than breast milk. H4: Continuous breastfeeding support provided to mothers through WhatsApp messaging application reduces bottle feeding rates. H5: Continuous breastfeeding support provided to mothers through WhatsApp messaging application reduces the rate of pacifier use. H6: Continuous breastfeeding support provided to mothers through WhatsApp messaging application reduces the incidence of mothers' breastfeeding problems. Amcenestrant (SAR439859) Plus Palbociclib as First Line Therapy for Patients With ER (+) HER2(-) Advanced Breast Cancer

Primary Objective: To determine whether Amcenestrant (SAR439859) in combination with palbociclib improves progression free survival (PFS) when compared with letrozole in combination with palbociclib in participants with estrogen receptor positive (ER+), human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 negative (HER2-) advanced breast cancer who have not received any prior systemic anticancer therapies for advanced disease. The Effect of Family Integrated Care on Preparing Parents With Premature Infants Hospitalized in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit for Discharge

Physiological and structural features of premature infants differ from mature newborns. Families worry about touching their very sensitive and fragile babies, which are quite different from their expectations, and they seriously concern about how they will take care of their babies who are cared for by the specialist staff at the hospital when they are discharged to home. Different approaches and models are applied in the Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICU) to prepare families, especially mothers, for the discharge process and to overcome these fears of the parents. However, most of the time, investigators observe in both researches and units that these approaches are not efficient. In this study, which investigators started with the questions as "What can investigators do better in this issue?" and "How can investigators help families more in this process?", investigator have seen that Family Integrated Care (FICare) model is applied in some clinics abroad and successful results have been obtained. However, investigators did not come across a study that applied this model and examined the effect of it on parents on being ready for discharge. Since this study will be a first in terms of both this aspect and the application of this model in our country, in this unique study, investigators aim to draw attention to this approach in our country, also contribute to keeping the premature babies healthy. Research Hypotheses: H0 There is no difference between the readiness for discharge of mothers and fathers included in the FICare model compared to the control group. H1 The hypothesis of this study is that the mothers included in the FICare model have higher levels of discharge readiness than the control group. H2 The hypothesis of this study is that the fathers included in the FICare model have higher levels of discharge readiness than the control group.

Effects of Two Different Exercise Practices on Maximum Oxygen Uptake and Pulmonary Function

Cardiopulmonary capacities of individuals are an indication of both the individual's exercise capacity and endurance. The most important indicator of cardiopulmonary capacity is maximum oxygen uptake and respiratory parameters. Auxiliary respiratory muscles exercises and core stabilization exercises have a place in increasing the maximum oxygen uptake. There are studies investigating the effects of respiratory muscle training and core stabilization training on maximum oxygen uptake in the literature. However, there is no study in the literature comparing the effects of auxiliary respiratory muscles exercises and core stabilization exercises on maximum oxygen uptake and respiratory parameters. Thanks to the findings to be obtained from our study, it is aimed to contribute to the literature with objective, evidence-based results in this field.

The Effect of Diabetes Mellitus in Colonoscopy Under Sedoanalgesia

INTRODUCTION AND AIM Diabetes Mellitus (DM) is a common endocrine disease in the world. Colon polyps and colorectal cancers are reported more in DM patients. Therefore diabetic patients are recommended to have colonoscopy frequently. The aim of this study is to search the effect of DM on hemodynamics, procedure times, anesthetic consumption and complications in colonoscopy under sedoanalgesia. MATERIALS AND METHODS Following Institutional Review Board and Ethics Committee approval of Başkent University, this study is planned to be prospective and double-blind in 50 type II diabetic and 50 non-diabetic ASA I-II, aged between 18-65 years female patients scheduled for elective colonoscopy under sedoanalgesia. Exclusion criteria are age outside the range of 18-65 years, ASA phsical status ≥ 3, inability to provide informed consent, pregnancy, previous adverse reactions to medications used in the study, history of anesthesia and sedation in the last 7 days, psychiatric or emotional disorders, addiction to the opioids or sedatives used in the study, diabetic nephrophathy, high BUN and creatinine values, advanced stages of diabetic nonalcoholic liver disease and high liver function tests, diabetic sensorymotor and autonomic neuropathy. After sedoanalgesia is applied systolic and diastolic blood pressure, heart rate, SpO2, respiratory rate, RSS, MPADS, procedure times, total anesthetic doses, stomach ache and other effects will be recorded. EXPECTATIONS AND SCIENTIFIC CONTRIBUTIONS There is evidence about determining the risks that diabetic patients have during colonoscopy and applying a special patient care protocol for these patients is suggested to improve the procedure and outcomes.

Effect of Plantar Sensory Exercises on Balance and Fall Risk in Nursing Home Elderly

The most important cause of mortality and morbidity with the geriatric population is loss of balance and the consequent falls, which is seen very often. The goal of our study is to examine the effects of plantar sensation education-based exercises on balance and falls.Materials and methods: 16 healthy, voluntary nursing home residents with the average age 77.50±5.5. Individuals had plantar sensory exercises 40 min sessions for 3 days/week during eight weeks. The study was planned as a self-controlled prospective study. Functional balance was evaluated using Berg Balance Scale, dynamic balance was evaluated using 30 Second Chair Stand Test, static balance and fall risk were assessed using Biodex Balance System.
