This study is a single blind, randomized parallel controlled experimental study planned to determine the effect of distant reiki, which is one of the non-pharmacological methods, on fatigue and comfort level in hemodialysis patients. The hypothesis of the study is that distant reiki increases patients comfort and reduces fatigue.
Knee ostheoarthritis (KOA) is a common disabling and degenerative disease leading to painful joints, articular stiffness, and decreased function. The mechanism of the ozone of relieving the pain and improving the knee function is through inhibiting the inflammation reaction in the KOA directly. Actually, the ozone intra-articular injection had been used to relieve the pain caused by KOA. The aim of this study is to evaluate the effect of intra-articular injection of medical ozone given into the knee of the osteoarthritis patients, and to compare it with intra-articular steroid injection and to investigate the effectiveness of ozone and steroid the job to determine the superiority of the injections to each other.

Objective: This study was conducted to determine the effects of supportive interventions on the stress levels of mothers of infants hospitalized in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). Backround: The inability to nurture the healthy baby dreamed of, disease and intensive care processes are situations causing a crisis for parents. The stress experienced by mothers may affect emotional status and the foundation of the mother-ınfant attachment. For this reason, mothers of infants hospitalized in the NICU need support to cope with the stressful events they experience. Design: This study was a prospective, pre-and post-test randomised controlled trial. Methods: The population of the research comprised mothers with neonates admitted to the NICU of a state hospital, abiding by the sample selection criteria and who accepted participation in the research. The research was completed with 85 mothers in two groups of 45 subjects and 40 controls selected at random. Data collection used the Parental Stressor Scale: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (PSS:NICU), NICU Parent Belief Scale (NICU:PBS), State-Trait Anxiety Inventory (STAI TX-2) and saliva cortisol analysis.

In addition, it was planned to investigate the effects of spinal stabilization exercises and manipulation on muscle strength, muscular endurance, balance and proprioception, depression and quality of life.
Adenomyosis is a relatively common benign disorder in which endometrial gland and stroma are located within the myometrium resulting angiogenesis of the spiral vessel, hypertrophy of the surrounding smooth muscles and enlargement of the uterus. So far the definitive diagnosis still requires histologic analysis of the hysterectomy specimens or hysteroscopic or laparoscopic biopsy. There is no specific laboratory tests and reliable clinical standards for the diagnosis. The preoperative diagnosis of adenomyosis, would prevent unnecessary therapies, loss of time and use of resources in vain. Therefore precise prediction of this disease without surgery gains importance. Developing a scoring system with clinical evaluation for this purpose will be very helpful in solving this problem. From this point, the investigators aimed to develop a scoring system that will predict presence of adenomyosis wİth high sensitivity using clinical evaluation methods such as history, physical examination, ultrasonography and laboratory tests. A prospective cohort study was conducted with 221 patients. In the study, the investigators have created a clinical scoring system for this purpose for the first time in the literature. In this scoring system, there are simple parameters that can be easily used by the clinician, have a low cost and are repeatable. The effect of each parameter on predicting adenomyosis is different, and the total effect can be calculated according to the answer to be given to all questions. In this simple scoring system, parity, menarche, VAS scores of dysmenorrhea and dyspareunia, myometrial heterogeneity in ultrasonography and presence of tenderness during pelvic examination were found to be useful parameters in predicting the diagnosis of adenomyosis.
This study is a randomized controlled study. 75 patients between the ages of 20-50 who were diagnosed with sacroiliac joint dysfunction will be included in the study. 25 patients will be given a home exercise program that strengthens the waist and hip girdle (to be shown once in the hospital by a physiotherapist and the form of the exercises will be given), 25 patients will be given kinesiology taping with inhibition technique with the exercise program, and 25 patients will be given kinesiology taping with fascia correction technique with the exercise program. Patients will do the exercises once a day for 1 month. In kinesiology taping with the inhibition method, an I-shaped tape of 15-20 cm in length will be applied on the sacroiliac joint on both sides without stretching the ends with 50% stretching in the middle. In addition, a 25-30 cm long I band will be applied over the right spina iliaca posterior superior, towards the left spina iliaca posterior superior. In the facia correction technique, 2 bands with no cut ends, a 10-15 cm web-shaped band divided into 4 or 5 parts with a width of 1-15 cm will be applied cross over the sacroiliac joint, without stretching the ends with 50% stretching in the middle. Gillet test (evaluation of sacroiliac joint movement with single hip flexion), Gaenslen test (pain provocation with passive hip flexion), Patrick test (provocation of pain with hip flexion, abduction and external rotation), standing flexion test (evaluation of sacroiliac joint movement with forward flexion), sacroiliac compression and distraction test (provocation of pain with anterior pelvic compression or distraction), long sitting test (pain in the sacroiliac joint after sitting for more than 30 minutes), posterior shear test (provocation of pain with hip flexion and adduction) will be applied to the patients. The patients' resting and moving pain levels will be measured using the Visuel Analog Scale (VAS). Pain duration in the last week will be questioned and noted. Global Assessment of the Patient's Self within the last 1 week will be made over VAS. Oswestry Disability Index (ODI) will be applied to determine the level of disability. Evaluations will be made before, 15 days after and 1 month after treatment.
