Frailty is a term specific to the geriatric period. It is used to describe weak, unstable, frail patients and partially expresses the frailty of the elderly patient. Once the frailty process begins, the risk of loss of mobility, dependency and mortality increases. Frailty is an important predictor of adverse outcomes after surgery. According to studies conducted in various surgical situations, fragility is a major risk factor for morbidity, mortality and longer hospital stay. According to the available data, frailty has a sufficient basis for determining the risks of patients before surgery, developing preventive methods and making personal treatment decisions. As the frailty index increased, it was observed that the duration of postoperative hospital stay was associated with the need for intensive care, postoperative complications, and the rate of re-admissions within 30 days. ASA (American Society of Anesthesiologists) classification is widely used in order to evaluate the physical condition preoperatively in geriatric individuals with multiple comorbidities. Considering the fragility variable while creating the ASA score in the preoperative period may be useful in determining the follow-up strategy during the operation and postoperative period. For example, a patient who is evaluated as ASA 2 because he has no problems other than simple 1-2 comorbid conditions, involuntary weakening of 5% in the last 1 year (not easily noticed), weakness (can only be detected with a dynamometer) and cessation of going out of the house (can only be understood when asked privately). ) can be categorized as at risk at ASA level 3-4, as it is understood to be fragile. The aim of this project is to examine the frequency of frailty in elderly individuals who will be operated on, and to examine the relationship between frailty and ASA score using the anthropometry and comorbidity differences between frail preoperative patients and those who do not.
Systemic Sclerosis (Ssc) is a rare, systemic autoimmune disease characterized by skin fibrosis and vasculopathy. In addition to the skin, it is a heterogeneous disease that affects multiple organs, including the musculoskeletal, cardiac, pulmonary, and gastrointestinal systems. Patients may experience many symptoms such as pain, fatigue, dyspnea, impaired hand function, dry mouth, and difficulty sleeping. As a result of these symptoms, these patients may experience a decrease in activities of daily living, physical activity level and quality of life, while psychological problems such as anxiety and depression may increase. In addition to medical treatment, rehabilitation programs for the patient are an important part of treatment to eliminate or reduce these symptoms and their consequences. Many problems such as time and resource constraints, transportation problems prevent access and compliance with the rehabilitation program. Also; For the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) epidemic that emerged in Wuhan, China in 2019, many countries have implemented many practices such as social distance, mandatory quarantine and transportation restrictions in order to better control the spread of the virus. Many people with SSc are at risk of serious complications from COVID-19 if infected due to lung involvement (>40% have interstitial lung disease) and widespread use of immunosuppressant drugs. Most countries have recommended that people with medical conditions such as SSc undergo strict isolation during the COVID-19 pandemic. As a result, patients' access to the rehabilitation program became more difficult in this process. In addition, social isolation due to the COVID-19 outbreak may increase physical inactivity and cause complications that may develop accordingly. When the literature was examined, no studies were found showing the effect of telerehabilitation program on anxiety depression, physical activity, sleep, fatigue and quality of life in patients with SSc.
108 myofascial pain syndrome (MPS) diagnosed patients will be randomly divided into 3 groups. To groups; exercise, exercise+high-intensity laser therapy (HILT) and exercise+dry needling will be applied. Visual anolog scale (VAS) scores and neck range of motion (ROM) of the patients before-after treatment will be recorded and will be evaluated statistically.
In this study, investigators aim to determine the true positivity of bladder cancer identified in the bladder base, trigone or neck on ultrasonography (USG) in patients presenting with hematuria or lower urinary tract symptoms, by confirming with the gold standard cystoscopy and biopsy results. It also aims to explore criteria that would allow to differentiate between intravesical prostate protrusion (IPP) due to benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) and bladder cancer indicated at the bladder floor, trigone and neck by evaluating false positive results.
Sudden hypotension, which may develop during liver resection operations performed under general anesthesia, can affect the patient satisfaction at a high rate by causing complications during and after the operation as a result of disrupting the blood supply of the tissues. Although there are standard monitoring methods such as blood pressure, heart rate, and oxygen status that show unwanted hypotension during anesthesia, it is possible to show hypotension in the early period with new generation methods. Although there are many clinical studies proving the effectiveness of these methods, these methods have not yet been included in the standard monitoring methods. Our prediction in this study is that the development of intraoperative and postoperative complications in patients who will undergo liver surgery, in whom tissue blood flow is monitored with the help of devices, will be less than in patients who are followed up with traditional methods. If an individual participate in this study, he will not be subjected to any additional procedures other than routine practice during the participant's operation. Before standard general anesthesia for his surgery, heart rate, oxygenation status, blood pressure parameters will be monitored. After the initiation of general anesthesia, the procedures performed in each liver surgery will be applied. In addition, he will be followed by using a probe that allows monitoring of tissue blood flow and reflects a value to the screen, to which it is attached, by simply sticking to his skin.
Accurate assessment of pain in neonates in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) is vital because of the high prevalence of painful experiences, including both daily procedural pain and postoperative pain, in this population. It has been reported that newborns born between the gestational ages (GY) 25-42 and hospitalized in the NICU undergo an average of 14 painful procedures per day in the first 2 weeks of life. The aim of this study is determinin the effect of different procedures on the pain levels of newborns in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).

It is also known that the systemic health status can impact the immune system. Given all this, this study aimed to investigate the effect of CV-19 and systemic health status, as determined by the American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) Physical Status Classification System 12, on TMJ in patients with TMJ complaints using the DC/TMD scale.

In our study, we aimed to evaluate the relationship between vitamin D levels and postoperative delirium in children who had undergone tonsillectomy and/or adenoidectomy.
This study, it is aimed to investigate the effectiveness of applied modified constraint-induced movement therapy (MCIMT) with threshold electrical stimulation (TES) in addition to conventional therapy (therapeutic exercise program) in patients with stroke. Before and after the treatment program we will evaluate, the pain level of the participants measured with a visual pain scale; sensory functions with Semmes Weinstein monofilament test battery; muscle tone, and spasticity with the modified Tardieu scale and Digital Palpation Device, which has a very high proof value; functional status with Wolf motor function test and Motor Activity Log; quality of life will be assessed by Stroke Specific Quality of Life Scale. Participants will be included in the study according to the inclusion criteria, the first evaluation of the participants will be made according to the evaluation parameters, and the participants will be randomly distributed into three groups. The first group will be treated with M-CIMT, the second group will be treated with MCIMT with TES for 4 weeks, and the third group will be the control group. A total of 45 participants will be included in the study.
