There are about 15072 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Turkey. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
Nursing education is composed of both theoretical and practical training that complement each other. The clinical practice environment for students is quite complex and practical applications are highly variable. Practical application areas do not offer effective and equal opportunities to meet the learning and application goals. There are also problems in theoretical education, and current teaching techniques cannot adequately support students' learning. In nursing education, it is recommended to use different teaching methods that strengthen students' skills. One of these methods is virtual reality simulation, which simulates real-life procedures. The investigators's aim in this project is to reveal the effect of the use of immersive virtual reality on the effectiveness of education in surgical nursing education through nursing care offered for a specific surgical procedure. With the laboratory setup, software tool(s), and the self-sufficient employees being able to use the software, via the capabilities gained through this project, it will be possible to carry out various types of virtual reality training activities by different departments of investigator's university without the need for out-sourcing. The investigators's advanced goal in this project is to transfer the nursing care specific to frequently applied surgical interventions to the immersive virtual reality environment.
The aim of our study is to investigate the relationship between intraoperative ETCO2 levels and postoperative nausea-vomiting and pain scores in patients undergoing robotic laparoscopic radical prostatectomy. The investigators will monitor patients' 24-hour postoperative pain, nausea-vomiting and the consumption of additional analgesic and antiemetic medications.
Dr. Biolyse® is a device with artificial intelligence that works in sync with the immune system and can be integrated like an element of this system. It is designed to develop chemical immunity within the body against infections. It gives electrical signals to the body without causing any pain and suffering to the patient. The electric current it applies is of a type that is not used in homes, and it is the frequency feature of direct current. The aim of this study is to evaluate the safety and efficacy of the Biolyse device. for minimizing the use of drugs in COVID-19 patients and treating drug-related organ damage during treatment We hope that by conducting this study, we will obtain sufficient data to obtain approval (CE certification) for routine use and marketing of this medical device in patients. Once this happens, we will be able to ensure that this device is accessible/usable for patients suffering from similar diseases, especially COVID-19, regardless of any studies.
The purpose of this study is to examine the psychometric properties of a Turkish shortened version of the Western Ontario Rotator Cuff Index (SHORTWORC).
This is a Phase III, 2-arm, randomised, open-label, multicentre, global study assessing the efficacy and safety of neoadjuvant Dato-DXd plus durvalumab followed by adjuvant durvalumab with or without chemotherapy compared with neoadjuvant pembrolizumab plus chemotherapy followed by adjuvant pembrolizumab with or without chemotherapy in participants with previously untreated TNBC or hormone receptor-low/HER2-negative breast cancer.
Achilles tendon rupture is common among physically active individuals. Limitations, decreases in the level of standing on heel rise, and due to these limitations, failures in functional activities such as returning to sports, walking, running, jumping and performance tests are observed. Manual therapy methods included in rehabilitation programs are an effective option in solving these problems. The aim of the study is to investigate the effects of Compressive Myofascial Release and Ankle joint mobilization on ankle joint movement, functional tests, elasticity and stiffness of the muscle-tendon complex and muscle tone parameters in individuals who underwent Achilles tendon repair.
The aim of this study was to examine the effect of web-supported peer education on health beliefs, knowledge levels and breast self-examination in university students.
Randomized control is an experimental study. The purpose of this research; To examine the effects of inhaler lavender, focus and music on women's pain and anxi.ety in intrauterine device application. In the randomized controlled experimental study, data would be obtained using the Numerical Anxiety Rating Scale and the Numerical Pain Rating Scale. 240 women who underwent IUD procedure at the Family Planning Consultancy Polyclinic of a secondary level public hospital in a city center between October and December 2023 were randomly assigned to receive 4 sets of 1 set of Inhaled lavender (60), 1 set of Focusing (60), 1 set of Music ( 60). 1 control group (60) will participate in the study.
This study aims to evaluate the effect of individual training and pregnancy follow-up given to pregnant women in the earthquake zone in their living spaces on prenatal comfort, distress, risk perception and birth anxiety. In the randomized controlled experimental study, data will be obtained using the Personal Information Form, Pregnant Observations and Birth Results, Prenatal Comfort Scale, Prenatal Distress Scale, Pregnancy Risk Perception Scale, Oxford Birth Anxiety Scale.
In China, acupuncture has been used for nearly 5,000 years to treat diseases and symptoms. Increasing evidence suggests that acupuncture, acupressure, and electroacupuncture (EA) may be useful in treating patients with cardiovascular disease. Electroacupuncture is a combination of traditional Chinese acupuncture and modern electrical techniques. The PC6 (Neiguan) acupoint is believed to influence cardiovascular function and treat a wide range of heart diseases, including angina pectoris, myocardial infarction, hypertension and hypotension. According to traditional Chinese medicine theory, PC 6 (Neiguan) and LU 7 (Lieque) are important acupuncture points where two main meridians meet each other. LU 7 and LU 2 (Yunmen) belong to the same meridian. Three acupuncture points have coordinated effects and act together. These points are the most commonly used areas to treat heart diseases in China and other countries and have been selected as suitable points in studies.
