Selective blockade of the saphenous nerve branches is among the regional anesthesia techniques in knee surgery. In this block, analgesia is provided without motor block and is an essential advantage in terms of early mobilization in the postoperative period. Blockage of motor branches causes a delay in mobilization and increases the risk of falling. The vastus medialis and its medical femoral cutaneous branch are rich in the femoral triangle. Effective postoperative analgesia is provided by a femoral triangle (triangle) blockade. The intermediate femoral cutaneous nerve courses over the sartorius muscle. Anatomically, the femoral triangle follows a separate path. When the femoral triangle and the blockade of the intermediate femoral cutaneous nerve are combined, it is called PSKB block. Parasartorial compartment block (PSKB); is based on the blockade of the branches of the saphenous nerve, the two largest sensory nerves from the femoral nerve to the knee, and is predicted to provide effective postoperative analgesia in knee arthroplasty.
The aim of this study is to comprehensively evaluate the fear of movement in different diseases. Individuals between the ages of 20-75 will be included in the study. Survey development phase; It consisted of literature review, qualitative research and the creation of the draft form. The literature review includes the creation of an item pool through a detailed examination of the studies on scales assessing kinesiophobia and the questionnaires used. Scale Postural control, balance, pain, anxiety/depression, 5' likert type orientation with 28 items consisting of sensory and interaction. 0 strongly disagree, 1: disagree, 2: not sure, 3: have, 4: have. Each section's own score and total score will be calculated out of 100. TAMPA Kinesiophobia Scale will be used to calculate the convergent validity of the questionnaire.
Considering the fact that The problems experienced by the patients are not only physiological but also psychological and social. Unfortunately, there is no sufficient study focus on all these concepts. Generally, studies focus on only physiological dimensions such as functional level, muscle strength and pain. The aim of this study, in addition to assessment methods commonly used for functional level, muscle strength and pain, is to evaluate central neuromuscular function on individuals who have undergone rotator cuff tear surgery with transcranial magnetic stimulation. Furthermore, psychological resilience, which is considered as a positive psychological trait, will also be evaluated. Until now, only one study has evaluated the role of psychological resilience in the postoperative process of rotator cuff surgery. This study has shown that the correlation between functionality and psychological resilience. As a result of our study, the influence of resiliency on postoperative outcomes following rotator cuff surgery will be determined and central neuromuscular function, shoulder functional level, and psychological resilience changes will be revealed in physiological and psychological concepts. Furthermore, this study may show that psychological resilience has a potential role on predicting functional level and pain. It is planned that the results obtained will guide the postoperative rehabilitation of rotator cuff surgery for further studies on multidimensional perspectives.
Pulmonary hypertension (PHT) is an oPAP ≥25 mmHg as assessed by right heart catheterization at rest. It is divided into 5 groups according to its etiology and mechanism. The first group is patients with pulmonary arterial hypertension due to various reasons (drugs, connective tissue diseases, etc.). Group 2 is classified as left heart failure, group 3 is due to chronic lung disease and hypoxemia, group 4 is due to pulmonary arterial obstruction (most commonly CTEPH), and group 5 is patients with pulmonary hypertension due to multifactorial unspecified causes. In the pathophysiology, pulmonary hypertension occurs when the balance is disturbed by endothelial dysfunction, decrease in vasodilator mediators (NO, prostacyclin) and increase in vasoconstrictor mediators (endothelin-1, serotonin, thromboxan) in the vascular bed. Perioperatively, patients with WHO functional classification >2, right ventricular hypertrophy, obese, chronic renal failure, previous PTE, COPD, diabetes mellitus are more prone to complications related to pulmonary hypertension. Although factors such as emergency surgery, intraoperative vasopressor use, delayed intubation, acidosis, and hyperthermia pave the way for postoperative pulmonary complications, attention should be paid to mortality and morbidity since they are also preventable factors. Postoperatively, as a result of the supine position triggering bronchospasm with secretions, acute lung injury in addition to the existing comorbidity occurs. With the increase in respiratory workload, acute respiratory failure develops with symptoms such as hypoxemia and hypercarbia. Residual anesthesia, increased pain or prolonged mechanical ventilation time also decrease functional residual capacity, increasing the possibility of atelectasis development. This study will evaluate the efficacy, safety, pharmacokinetics (PK), and pharmacodynamics (PDy) of novel immunotherapy combinations compared with immunotherapy monotherapy in participants with Programmed death ligand-1 (PD L-1) high (Tumor cells [TC]/ Tumor proportion score [TPS] ≥ 50%), previously untreated, unresectable, locally advanced or metastatic NSCLC. Drug name mentioned as Belrestotug, GSK4428859A, and EOS884448 are all interchangeable for the same compound. In the rest of the document, the drug will be referred to as Belrestotug.
Objectives: The purpose of this study is to evaluate bite force (BF), oral health-related quality of life (OHRQoL), and patient satisfaction in 2-implant-supported overdentures. In addition, the effects of clinical parameters such as age, gender, implant length, implant diameter, locator attachment height, attachment color, and interimplant distance were also evaluated. Material and Methods: A total of 51 patients were included in the study. BFs were measured with a force meter in complete dentures and implant-supported overdentures. OHRQoL was assessed with the Oral Health Impact Profile (OHIP-14) and patient satisfaction was assessed with the Visual Analog Scale (VAS).

The aim of this study was to develop a reliable and valid gait classification scale for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (QIGS-DMD). The items of the QIGS-DMD were designed based on the literature review considering existing functional classification scales, gait scales, and the opinions of the physiotherapists who were expertized in rehabilitation of patients with DMD. Content validity was determined based on the opinions of a total of ten expert physiotherapists. Videos were recorded during gait of 69 children with DMD and inter- and intra-rater reliability were examined. Criterion validity was determined according to the relationship between QIGS-DMD and Motor Function Measure (MFM) and Vignos Lower Extremity Rating Scale (VLERS).

Investigators aimed to investigate the effect of using the G8, VES13, and CARG scales in the geriatric age group in cancer patients receiving nivolumab treatment in predicting side effects.
The aim of this study is to investigate the effects of multi-family group psychoeducation (MFGP) on the families of people living with a diagnosis of substance abuse disorder on patients and their families. It has been reported that families are affected by substance-related disorders. Families that are the target of psychoeducational practices for families are defined as follows: "Family" is a relative, biological family member, partner, close friend, or any other support person or a person who sees herself/himself as the patient's family. In most studies, it has been stated that including family members in the patient's treatment provides additional benefits to substance use services and makes long-term recovery more likely. Studies have found that MFGP is associated with fewer relapses and hospitalizations, improved family well-being, increased participation in vocational rehabilitation, higher employment rates, and reduced costs of care. Multifamily psychoeducation aims to increase the family's knowledge about substance use disorders and to include them in the recovery process. Study Design:The intervention involves 8-week MFGP for families. During the 8 sessions, it was planned to conduct face-to-face psychoeducational group work, with each session lasting 75 minutes on average. The MFGP to be covered during 8 sessions was created by evaluating MFGP modules from 3 different sources. Intervention protocols included these subjects: First session: Psychoeducation on Substance-Abuse Disorders Second session: Effects of Addiction on the Family Third session: illness management Fourth session: Supporting Recovery Fifth session: Improving Stress Coping Skills/Stress Management Sixth session: Developing Problem-Solving Skills Seventh session: Strengthening the Family Eighth session: Working with Stigma Study population: Families of people suffering from substance abuse disorders were studied. Expected outcomes: An increase in general and social functionality, a decrease in depression, anxiety, and self-stigma, an increase in quality of life, and treatment compliance are expected for patients. For families, it is expected that depression, anxiety, self-stigma, and caregiving burnout decrease, funcitonalty and quality of life increases and people gain skills to cope with stress.
