Central sensitization is as increased response to normal or sub-threshold stimuli of central nervous system and its close relationship with in many musculoskeletal diseases with chronic pain has been demonstrated in several studies. However, the effect of central sensitization on disability in these patients is not fully known. In this study, it was aimed to investigate the frequency of central sensitization and its effect on patients with chronic musculoskeletal pain who were admitted to physical medicine and rehabilitation outpatient clinics.

After CIC application, patients's increase body image, self-confidence development and quality of life. CIC application to children is done by caregivers. CIC use has negative effects as well as positive effects for patients. If the caregiver has not received enough training about CIC application and does not pay attention to CIC performing hours and procedure steps, urinary tract infection can be seen in children. Common urinary tract infections in children cause permanent kidney damage. Studies conducted to prevent complications that may develop in patients using CIC emphasize the importance of patient education. The aim of this study is to evaluate the effect of based on the roy adaptation theory supported android phone application CIC training, on the knowledge / skills, coping / adaptation and anxiety level of caregivers and the development of urinary tract infection in children.
Neural tube defects (NTD), which is the most common anomaly of the central nervous system, which can be diagnosed during antenatal period, brings many problems both in the neonatal period and in advanced ages. Open neural tube defects, in particular, progress with sensory-motor deficits due to the risk of infection and neural tissue loss from birth, and should be followed closely from the neonatal period. Newborns born with a neural tube defect should be operated within the first 72 hours postnatal and the defect should be closed. In this hospital, newborns with NTD are monitored in our neonatal surgery intensive care unit before and after surgery. Neonatal specialists, neurosurgeons and other specialists when there is an additional anomaly evaluate the baby as multidisciplinary. In this project, the short-term follow-up data of babies with NTD who have been followed up in this neonatal surgery intensive care unit for the last fifteen years will be evaluated retrospectively.
Deep hypothermic circulatory arrest (DHCA) (18 degree) without cerebral perfusion is a safe technique. Resarchers use this technique in patients with proximal aortic pathologies. During the DHCA period, cerebral silent ischemic events may occur. But the silent ischemic events don't neurological problems with patients.

The experimentally planned research was carried out with the students of Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University Faculty of Health Sciences Nursing Department between 21.02.2020-02.09.2020.After the informed consent form was obtained from the students who accepted to participate in the study, the students were divided into three groups by applying block randomization with the computer-assisted randomization method. Then, all students filled in the Participant Identification Form and the Basic Life Support Application Steps for Adults Information Form. Later, with a visual-based presentation prepared in line with the guideline updated and published by the American Heart Association (AHA) in 2015, a 30-minute training on basic life support for adults was given.At the end of the training, the students were informed about the groups they were in, and the working principles of the devices the groups would work on were informed. With the first group virtual reality applied scenario, the 2nd group computer-aided scenario-based high-reality simulation device (SimMan® 3G) and the 3rd group low-reality adult basic life support model.The groups will be taken to the laboratories individually and the applications will be done individually and other students were not allowed to follow the student who did the application during the application. During the application, the students were evaluated with the basic life support application evaluation form. During the application, the video recording taken with the permission of the students was watched with the student after the application and a debriefing session was held. After the application, education was evaluated with Student Satisfaction and Self-Confidence in Learning Scale. Basic life support knowledge level was evaluated by having the basic life support information assessment form filled out again at 3 and 6 months after the first evaluation.
This study will evaluate the efficacy, safety and patient-reported outcomes of trastuzumab emtansine plus atezolizumab compared with trastuzumab emtansine plus placebo in participants with HER2-positive and PD-L1-positive LABC or MBC.Participants must have progressed either during or after prior trastuzumab- (+/- pertuzumab) and taxane-based therapy for LABC/MBC; or during (or within 6 months after completing) trastuzumab- (+/-pertuzumab) and taxane-based therapy in the neoadjuvant and/or adjuvant setting.
All patients undergoing allogeneic or autologous HSCT at the participating centres will be observed. Once a diagnosis of CNS disorder is made, additional data will be reported for these patients. We will identify clinical and diagnostic characteristics such as cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) and neuroimaging patterns, risk factors, response to treatment (including novel antifungal agents such as isavuconazole) and outcome. In addition, risk factors for CNS disorders after allogeneic and autologous HSCT will be analyzed using a prospectively assessed matched control group. In the future, this study might be the basis for an interventional trial (e.g. using a prophylactic approach).
