There are about 15072 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Turkey. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of NIS793 in combination with gemcitabine/nab-paclitaxel versus gemcitabine/nab-paclitaxel and placebo in first-line metastatic pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (mPDAC). This study aims to explore whether blockade of Transforming Growth Factor β (TGFβ) in combination with gemcitabine/nab-paclitaxel can reduce fibrosis in PDAC, restore chemo-sensitivity and ultimately lead to improvements in overall survival (OS) and other clinically relevant outcomes.
The main objective of this study is to evaluate the tumor objective response rate (ORR) assessed by Response Evaluation Criteria in Solid Tumors (RECIST) 1.1 criteria in participants who receive sotorasib at either 960 mg daily or 240 mg daily whose tumors are programmed death-ligand 1 (PD-L1) Tumor Proportion Score (TPS) < 1% and/or harbor a serine/threonine kinase 11 (STK11) co-mutation, in a subgroup of participants with PD-L1 < 1% and in a subgroup of participants with STK11 co-mutation.
This study will evaluate the efficacy and safety of multiple biomarker-selected treatments in patients with persistent or recurrent rare epithelial ovarian, fallopian tube, or primary peritoneal tumors. Enrollment will take place in two phases: a preliminary phase followed by a potential expansion phase.
This is a phase III study of efficacy and safety of secukinumab versus placebo, in combination with glucocorticoid taper regimen, in patients with giant cell arteritis (GCA)
This research aims to determine the effect of acupressure applied to nurses actively working in internal clinics on sleep quality and fatigue during the COVID-19 pandemic process. This research hypothesizes that acupressure improves sleep quality and reduces fatigue.
Primary purpose: To investigate the effect of propolis, a food supplement product, on healing parameters in patients with COVID 19. Secondary purpose: To provide a new supportive treatment in Covid 19 treatment. In the present study to examine the effect of the use of propolis on healing parameters (laboratory and imaging) in patients with COVID 19; Propolis, which has antiviral properties, has also been used in humans in the COVID19 pandemic as of 2020. However, in these studies, an alcohol-soluble extract of propolis was used. Despite the disadvantages of its use in alcohol, it is clear that water and olive oil extracts of Propolis are safer for humans. Therefore, water extracts of propolis will be used in the study.
The study was designed as a multicenter, prospective cross-sectional cohort study. The research population will consist of patients under the age of 40, diagnosed with endometriosis and/or adenomyosis and polycystic ovary syndrome, who applied to the obstetrics and gynecology outpatient clinics in 13 centers. According to the results of the sample size analysis, it was planned to terminate the study when 1225 patients with polycystic ovary syndrome and 1225 patients with endometriosis and/or adenomyosis were recruited.
The aim of the study is to investigate serum cytokine levels and the efficacy of lumbar stabilization exercises in patients with lumbar disc herniation with and without neurological deficits. Patients who applied to Hacettepe University Hospitals Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Department with low back pain complaints and were referred for treatment will be included in the study.
It has been planned to determine the effect of EFT, which effectiveness has been determined by the studies, on the covid-19 fear and anxiety experienced by the nurses working in the emergency department. The study was designed as a randomized controlled study with pre-test and post-test control group.
Periodontitis is an infectious disease that causes destruction of periodontal tissues with complex etiology that develops due to local and systemic factors. Host-derived enzymes, cytokines and proinflammatory markers are the main elements that play a role in this degradation. New techniques such as non-surgical or surgical methods combined with laser application are used for its treatment. The subjects were divided into two groups as "Individuals Applied with Diode Laser in Addition to Non-Surgical Periodontal Treatment" (Laser group) and "Individuals with Non-Surgical Periodontal Treatment (SRP)" (Control group). While only non-surgical periodontal treatment was applied to individuals in the control group; In the laser group, diode laser was applied in addition to this treatment. All individuals were examined 1 and 3 months after treatment. The scaling root planing (SRP) procedure was performed mechanically with gracey curettes under local anesthesia. The diode laser applied to the study group was applied parallel to the gingival sulcus at 0.80W power, 940 nm wavelength and 0.80 J / s energy level in continuous phase. Gingival crevicular fluid (GCF) samples were taken without any procedure in order not to change the amount and content. All clinical parameters were also measured by the same investigator before SRP and in all participants. After this treatment, the participants were re-examined in the 1st and 3rd months for control purposes and GCF samples were taken from the same regions again and the clinical parameters were measured again by the same researcher. GCF samples were stored at -20 degrees Celsius until ELISA studies were performed. Clinical parameters (pocket depth, clinical attachment loss, bleeding on probing, gingival index, plaque index) and gingival crevicular fluid (GCF) sampling were obtained at each control. IL-1β, IL-10, IL-17, OPG, RANKL, TWEAK, Sclerostin levels in GCF samples were measured with ELISA method. The aim of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness of diode laser application in addition to non-surgical treatment in periodontitis treatment clinically and biochemically and to assess the potential biomarkers for use.
