NCT ID: NCT06059339 Active, not recruiting - Postoperative Pain Clinical Trials

Comparing Pericapsular Nerve Group Block With Lumbar Erector Spinae Plain Block in Total Hip Arthroplasty Surgery

Start date: July 22, 2022
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Total hip arthroplasty is a common surgical procedure aiming to improve mobility and quality of life in patients suffering from hip pain. Despite being a frequently performed procedure, there is high variability in the peri-operative anaesthetic and analgesic management for total hip arthroplasty. Beyond the immediate postoperative period, regional anesthesia and analgesia can have potentially beneficial effects on long-term outcomes, especially on postoperative pain, functional rehabilitation and morbidity . The primary implication of this study is to compare postoperative opioid consumption of patients' after total hip arthroplasty using pericapsular nerve group (PENG) block with lumbar erector spinae plain block.

NCT ID: NCT06058507 Completed - Stroke Clinical Trials

"Carotid Web Incidence and Radiological Classification, Determination of Its Relationship With Ischemic Stroke"

Start date: April 19, 2022
Phase:
Study type: Observational

In our research, we aim to increase awareness on this issue by classifying the frequency of carotid webs and their radiological classification; Evaluating the clinical data and vascular risk factors of carotid web cases and determining their relationship with ischemic stroke and determining the measures that can be taken for future optimal treatment. We aimed to contribute to their approach.

NCT ID: NCT06058208 Completed - Preterm Labor Clinical Trials

Baby Smell Visual Stimulus Program Cortical and Breast Oxygenation Milk Amount Mother-Infant Attachment

Start date: August 19, 2022
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

In this study, the effect of infant odor and visual stimulus program applied to mothers who had delivered by cesarean section and whose babies were taken to the NICU on cortical and breast oxygenation (rSO2), amount of breast milk and mother-infant bonding was investigated.

NCT ID: NCT06058195 Recruiting - Cholecystectomy Clinical Trials

Comparison of Quadratus Lumborum and Transverse Abdominis Plane Blocks With Intravenous Analgesic in Gallbladder Surgery

Start date: October 3, 2023
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Patients who will undergo laparoscopic gallbladder surgery are expected to experience less postoperative pain and have less need for morphine-derived painkillers. For this reason, a total of 128 patients were planned to be included in the study, including a group of patients who were eligible for gallbladder surgery with transverse abdominis plane block (TAPB), a group of patients with quadratus lumborum plane block (QLB) and a group of patients with intravenous painkillers (IVA).

NCT ID: NCT06058026 Completed - Caries; Dentin Clinical Trials

Clinical Comparison of Composite Materials

Start date: December 31, 2020
Phase:
Study type: Observational [Patient Registry]

Universal adhesive solutions have just entered the market, allowing dentists to choose an adhesive strategy based on the needs of patients and clinical situations. Theses adhesives contain a primer/adhesive resin mix in a single bottle for multi-mode etch-and-rinse or self-etch applications. The aim of this study was to evaluate the clinical performance of composite resins with diffent adesive agents on Class II cavities.

NCT ID: NCT06057961 Not yet recruiting - Substance Use Clinical Trials

Effect Of Art Therapy Applied to Individuals With Substance Use Subject to Supervised Release

Start date: October 2023
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The goal of this clinical trial is to examine the effect of art therapy applied to individuals with substance use who are subject to probation on difficulty in emotion regulation, self-esteem and hopelessness. The main question[s] it aims to answer are: [Is art therapy effective on the level of emotion regulation difficulties of individuals with substance use who are subject to probation?] [Is art therapy effective on the self-esteem level of individuals with substance use who are subject to probation?][Is art therapy effective on the hopelessness level of individuals with substance use who are subject to probation?] Data will be collected through scale forms and art therapy sessions. Within the scope of the pre-test application, data will be collected from all participants in the sample group using the "Personal Information Form", "Difficulties in Emotion Regulation Scale-Brief Form (DERS-16)", "Coopersmith Self-Esteem Scale", "Beck Hopelessness Scale". Art therapy will be applied face to face to the participants in the intervention group, in groups of 4-12 people, in the group guide room, on a common day and time determined by the group members and the researchers. Researchers will compare the experimental group and the control group to see whether art therapy applied to individuals with substance use who are subject to probation has an effect on emotion regulation difficulties, self-esteem and hopelessness.

NCT ID: NCT06057311 Completed - Clinical trials for Autism Spectrum Disorder

Equine Assisted Therapy in Autism Spectrum Disorder

AUTISM-EAT
Start date: December 24, 2019
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a common neurodevelopmental disorder that negatively affects social interaction, communication, and behavior. Various animals have started to be used for therapeutic purposes by those in need. In recent years, especially equine-assisted therapies have become popular. However, it has been reported in the literature that more studies on this subject are needed. Therefore, the aim of this study was to examine the effects of equine-assisted therapy for children with autism on daily living activities, balance, quality of life, and sleep.

NCT ID: NCT06057272 Not yet recruiting - Gait, Stumbling Clinical Trials

Lie Detector at the Gait: Artificial Intelligence Model

Start date: October 30, 2023
Phase:
Study type: Observational [Patient Registry]

The goal of this clinical trial is to obtain more consistent results with the use of repetitive neural networks in gait models and classification approaches in individuals applying forensic sciences. It was aimed to develop a decision support system for determining the walking imitations of individuals with explainable machine learning approaches on disability compensation in the field of Forensic Medicine. Participants will be assessed regarding kinematic and temporospatial gait parameters, pain severity, and fatigue level. Comparison group: Researchers will compare the patients applying to the forensic medicine department to those applying to the orthopedic department, and their healthy counterparts.
