Web-based Mobile Health Application for Patients With Liver Cirrhosis (ReLiver-N App)

This study evaluates the effect of a web-based mobile health application for patients with liver cirrhosis (ReLiver-N App) developed for enhancing patients' activation on the level of patient activation, self-efficacy, and quality of life. To manage liver cirrhosis after discharge, patients must continue to do some interventions at home like weight measurement, edema evaluation, and taking medications. To achieve this, the patient's activation level should be enhanced and that can contribute to hepatic rehabilitation. It would be beneficial to develop a web-based mobile health application for patients with liver cirrhosis that can enhance patient activation levels. The investigators developed the ReLiver-N App based ADDIE which is instructional design framework and created its contents of it. Our content includes about us, patient education information about liver cirrhosis, patient activity skills and measuring tools. Ten experts evaluated the quality of the content and the investigators conducted a feasibility test with three patients to assess the usability of the ReLiver-N App. A single-blind randomized controlled trial design will be applied. Patients with liver cirrhosis will be pretested and randomized (intervention (ReLiver-N App): 26, active control: 26) to the ReLiver-N App group and active control group. Both the ReLiver-N App group and active control group will use the ReLiver-N App for three months. While participants in the ReLiver-N group can reach all content of the ReLiver-N App. Participants in the active control group will have access to "about us", "patient activity skills", and "measuring tools" in the ReLiver-N App. Patient education information about liver cirrhosis will be encrypted.

Quantitative EEG Changes Following Repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation in Patients With Post Stroke (EEG-rTMS)

Quantitative EEG (qEEG) has been used as an effective tool in the diagnosis and prognosis of brain-related diseases. In the literature, a variety of qEEG parameters have been proven informative in the prognosis of stroke. In addition, it has been demonstrated that changes in certain qEEG parameters during traditional/task-specific rehabilitation approaches are correlated with clinical outcomes of functional motor recovery. Repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) has been proposed as a non-invasive and therapeutic treatment used to accelerate and enhance the recovery process of motor function in stroke patients. Many studies have reported that inhibiting contralesional rTMS may have positive effects in stroke patients with severe upper extremity motor impairment. In this context, the aim of the proposed study is to investigate whether there is a correlation between the change in qEEG parameters and the improvement of motor functions associated with rTMS treatment and to provide an electrophysiological prognostic biomarker of inhibiting contralesional rTMS for stroke patients.

The aim of this study is to examine the effects of virtual reality glasses and distraction cards, which are cognitive behavioral techniques, on women's pain, anxiety and satisfaction levels. It is aimed to reduce your anxiety level, reduce pain level and increase feelings of satisfaction by showing you a nature video with Virtual Reality Glasses or showing distraction cards so that you can spend this process more comfortably while IUD is being applied. The following questions are expected to be answered in this research: When virtual reality glasses and distraction cards are applied during the IUD procedure; (1) Does it affect the woman's pain level? (2) Does it affect the woman's anxiety level? (3) does it have an effect on women's satisfaction? In addition, it is aimed to reveal the effectiveness of virtual reality glasses and distraction cards in the IUD application process, which is one of the modern family planning methods in midwifery applications, and to bring a non-invasive and cost-effective option into practice.

The goal of this clinical trial is to evaluate the effect of breastfeeding on the infant's test weight and physiological characteristics (oxygen saturation and heart rate) in preterm infants in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit during the transition to oral feeding. The main question it aims to answer are: • Is there a difference in test weight and physiological parameters between the infants in whom the first oral feeding was performed by the mother and the infants in whom the first oral feeding was performed by the intensive care unit nurse with a bottle? Combined Adductor&Sciatic Nerve Block vs Femoral&Sciatic Nerve Block in Total Knee Replacement Surgery

Knee joints, one of the largest and most functional joints of the human body, have great features to provide ideal body posture and movement. In patients with knee osteoarthritis in whom pain and functional loss continue to increase despite conservative and medical burden, they are evaluated by orthopedic surgeons for surgical treatment. Total knee replacement (TKR) surgery is aimed to eliminate the existing pain, restore and carry the movements, to protect the characteristics of the deformities and the quality of life. Pain can be very severe after TKR surgery, which is very common in the middle and elderly patient population today. In the postoperative period, untreated pain prevents early physical therapy practices and restricts postoperative knee rehabilitation and recovery, but it also has negative effects on the respiratory, gastrointestinal, renal, and central nervous systems. Effective management of postoperative acute pain can reduce these complications and the risk of developing chronic pain. In this study, investigators hypothesized that combined adductor canal and sciatic nerve block, applied with postoperative ultrasound guidance to patients who will undergo TKR surgery under general anesthesia, will provide effective analgesia, less opioid consumption, and faster ambulation time, similar to combined femoral and sciatic nerve block.
