There are about 15072 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Turkey. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
Objective: In this study, the effect of mindfulness-based cognitive therapy on compliance with immunosuppressive therapy in liver transplant patients was evaluated. Method: It was conducted the study in a randomized controlled type with n=120 participation of liver transplant recipients of a transplant hospital. It was applied mindfulness-based cognitive therapy to liver recipients in the experimental group.
The aim of the study is to compare the efficacy of kinesio taping treatment and knee orthosis treatment in Patellofemoral Pain Syndrome (PFAS). 54 patients were included in the study and the patients were divided into 3 groups as kinesio taping group (KTG) (n=18), orthotics group (OG) (n=18) and control group (CG) (n=18). A progressive exercise program was applied to all groups and patients were treated 2 days a week for 6 weeks. While kinesio taping was applied to KTG in each session, knee orthosis was given to OG and they were asked to use it for 6 weeks. Visual Analogue Scale (VAS), Kujala Score, Knee injury and Osteoarthritis Outcome Score (KOOS), isokinetic strength test (IST) and joint position sense (JPS) test were used in the evaluation.
Aim: It was planned to evaluate the impact of mindfulness training on interpersonal style and perceived social competence in adolescents.
Aim: In this study, it was aimed to evaluate the effect of the tidal model on distress, self-management and psychological well-being in individuals with diabetes. It is thought that this study will contribute to the literature, nursing profession and patients with diabetes.
The American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) states that physical activity is very important for healthy adults as it provides many health and psychological benefits. Physical activity is any bodily movement produced by skeletal muscles that increases energy expenditure. physical activity; It is an important health behavior that can have a positive impact on physical, cognitive, and social well-being. In the population of athletes who qualify as physically active, the focus is not on adapting to exercise or improving physical activity. However, the inability of athletes to maintain their lifelong physical activity levels after retirement can cause health problems. Because physical activity behavior patterns are lifelong, it is important to understand the factors that contribute to physical activity. Conscious awareness; It is defined as a mindset in the form of being aware of the present moment with the features that do not judge, accept and avoid. Mindfulness is often said to require both purposeful attention and an accepting attitude. Intention is also considered an important part of awareness. There is increasing interest in the role of mindfulness in the emergence of positive health outcomes. One possible benefit of mindful practice is that it can lead to intrinsic motivation. Until recently, there was no good way to measure the specific experience of mindfulness during physical activity to support this recommendation. A new scale called the State Mindfulness Scale for Physical Activity has been developed to help researchers better understand how people feel about their physical activity. The State Mindfulness Scale for Physical Activity is a 12-item scale to measure mindfulness during a specific physical activity. The scale is based on the Situational Conscious Awareness Scale, which measures objects (mental and physical) and the quality of situational conscious awareness. The original scale was not comprehensive enough to capture the full spectrum of physical experiences. The State Mindfulness Scale for Physical Activity was developed to assess different aspects of mindfulness (mental and physical) during physical activity to better understand the physical activity experience. There are six items that use awareness of objects of mental experience and six items that use awareness of objects of physical or physical experience. State Mindfulness Scale for Physical Activity has been successfully adapted to Spanish, Italian and Brazilian. Despite the increase in Turkish assessment tools in the field of physical activity in recent years, psychological assessment tools are very few. The aim of this study is to translate, culturally adapt and validate the Turkish version of the State Mindfulness Scale for Physical Activity.
It was aimed to examine the effect of telerehabilitation on clinical stress level and stress responses in nursing students.
ARDS management is quite complex, and mortality is high. PEEP titration is very important in mechanical ventilation. However, the most appropriate approach for PEEP titration has yet to be determined. Currently, the emphasis is on focused PEEP implementation. The present study aimed to evaluate the volume gain at different PEEP levels over the pressure-volume curve, the changes in EELV measured by the modified multiple nitrogen wash-out/wash-in technique, and the compliance with respiratory mechanics. 14 adult ARDS patients undergoing invasive mechanical ventilation were included in the study. According to the Berlin Criteria, There were two mild, seven moderates, and five severe ARDS patients. FRC and EELV with decreased PEEP titration estimates (5 cmH2O) were measured by the multiple nitrogen wash-out/washin technique. Gain and compliance values were measured over the dynamic pressure-volume curves created by the intracheal pressure sensor.
The study included 15 geriatric individuals over the age of 65 staying in Kızılay Zeynep Nedim Oyvar Nursing Home and Elderly Nursing Home. Participants in the study were rehabilitated by playing exergame games with Xbox 360 KinectTM for 30 minutes once a week for 8 weeks. Before starting the application, the participants were given a demographic information form, Tampa kinesiophobia scale for kinesiophobia, Nintendo Wii balance platform and basic balance game for balance measurement, geriatric depression scale-short form for depression, cognitive functions, and mini-mental state test for the lower extremities. functional strength and risk of falling. The shuttle test was applied 5 times. These tests will be repeated at the end of 8 sessions and before and after values were measured. As a result of the analysis, the effects of Xbox 360 KinectTM games on kinesiophobia, balance, lower extremity muscle strength, depression, and cognitive functions in geriatric individuals with kinesiophobia were investigated.
The effect of hippotherapy, which will be applied to children with special needs in a single session, on sitting balance and walking speed under the supervision of a physiotherapist was investigated. 30 randomly selected children with special needs between the ages of 3-18 who were referred to the Gebze Equestrian Training Center were included in the study. The children were randomly divided into 3 groups: 10 in the saddle, 10 naked (direct contact with the horse), and 10 in the hippotherapy group, in which a cloth of different texture was placed on the horse. Each group did a 30-minute hippotherapy session in the manege area. Before the application, the sitting balance of the children was evaluated by playing the Nintendo Wii Balance Platform and the Basic Balance Game. In addition, 10 m walking test was applied for walking speed. These assessments were repeated after the 30-minute session. It was checked whether the application had an effect on balance and walking speed. Comparisons between the groups were made and it was examined which application was more effective on balance and walking speed.
Although there are numerous data demonstrating the impact of Interstitial Lung Disease (ILD) on respiratory functions, there is a lack of studies investigating the effects of respiratory functions on parameters such as sleep quality, dyspnea, and fatigue. The primary objective of the study is to examine the influence of changes in respiratory muscle functions in ILD on sleep quality, dyspnea, and fatigue parameters. The secondary objective is to investigate the effects of respiratory muscle functions in ILD on parameters such as cough, pain, exercise capacity, peripheral muscle strength, anxiety, depression, and quality of life.
