In the postoperative period, good pain and anxiety management is required to minimize complications and ensure recovery. Patients should be evaluated with a holistic approach, taking into account factors such as physical and psychological discomfort, anxiety level, age, gender, previous pain level. Pharmacological and non-pharmacological methods are used to relieve pain and anxiety in the postoperative period. Non-pharmacological methods reduce the patient's pain and anxiety by creating a feeling of comfort and control in the patient. Relaxation techniques such as hypnosis, yoga and music are among these. The main purpose of these methods is to draw the attention of the individual in another direction. Praying is also one of the non-drug methods, and the number of studies on this subject is very limited, and there are studies where it has been determined that praying and praying reduces the anxiety levels of patients. Purpose To examine the effect of listening to Surah al-Inshirah on pain and anxiety after laparoscopic cholecystectomy surgery. Method The population of the study will consist of patients who have undergone laparoscopic cholecystectomy at Mardin Training and Research Hospital and Kızıltepe State Hospital, who meet the inclusion criteria and volunteer to participate in the research. The study group of 60 people who will participate in the research will be divided into two equal groups according to the table of random numbers obtained from the computer-based Research Randomizer program. Experimental group patients; A patient descriptive characteristics form will be applied, pretest VAS pain score and state anxiety scale will be applied. Then, the Surah al-Inshirah will be listened to and the final test VAS pain score and state anxiety scale will be applied. Control group patients; A patient descriptive characteristics form will be applied, pretest VAS pain score and state anxiety scale will be applied. The posttest VAS pain score and state anxiety scale will be applied 10 minutes later, without any intervention.
Sleep disorders can impair cognitive function, decision-making ability, exercise capacity, and immune system.Sleep disorders, which may occur in the perioperative period as short-term or long-term, affect many patients. Patients have to face with perioperative sleep disorders, and this situation can continue for a long time after surgery. Anesthetic agents may cause sleep disturbances in the postoperative period. Anesthetics can disrupt the normal sleep-wake cycle and thus cause sleep insufficiency and poor sleep quality. The relationship between general anesthesia and postoperative sleep disorders is still unclear. It is advantageous to identify patients with pre-existing sleep disorders, since the risk of postoperative sleep disturbance is high. The investigators hypothesis that regional anesthesia does not disrupt the circadian rhythm compared to general anesthesia, is more successful in pain control, and thus provides a better sleep quality for patients.
Ankle sprains are common injuries in physically active individuals who are involved in sports such as soccer and volleyball. It is also frequently seen in sedentary individuals who are not physically active and in people who engage in recreational sports. The recurrence rate of lateral ankle sprains has been shown to be 80%. Functional Ankle Instability can be defined as recurrent ankle sprain and/or a "giving away sensation" happens after the initial sprain. Conservative treatments are recommended to prevent recurrent injuries and to return to activity after stability, since the group that usually experiences a feeling of stability consists of young people. As a treatment, sensory and cognitive notifications and exercise applications that involve progression by increasingly challenging the individual, including reducing the support surface and changing the center of gravity, are recommended. The Balance Board is a simple, cheap and applicable tool used to improve balance in treatment. In addition to improving balance, it reduces ankle sprains by up to 50%. The balance board can train the ankle unidirectionally or multiaxially. Unidirectional balance usually allows uniaxial movement based on a flat wood and a semicircle underneath. Multiaxial balance board systems are systems that allow multi-directional movement in all axes regardless of the position of the foot. It was reported that the performance gained as a result of the use of the multiaxial balance board was long-lasting and showed a rapid recovery in injuries. It has been concluded that balance training with a balance board restores the normal neuromuscular feedback loop by improving mechanoreceptor function, which contributes to the retraining of the sensorimotor system. The use of game elements in treatment is defined as gamification and is a cheap and alternative method to perform various medical procedures. The increasing interest in gamification is due to lack of compliance with traditional treatment, increase in health care costs and inequitable access to health care. Musculoskeletal disorders are one of the leading causes of physical disability worldwide and gamification can be useful in various musculoskeletal rehabilitation such as tendonitis, degenerative joint disorders, neural compressions. Games are more attractive to patients and provide therapists with a wide range of alternatives for rehabilitation, making the treatment more dynamic and attractive. Considering the relationship of joint hypermobility with joint muscle tone and posture, sensory processing skills may also be affected in individuals with hypermobility. No study in the literature examines the relationship between joint hypermobility and sensory processing. This study was planned to detect joint hypermobility as early as 12-14 months and to examine its relationship with sensory processing skills.
The study was conducted in the ENT Clinic of Mersin Şehir Training and Research Hospital between June 1 and December 1, 2021, with a total of 60 adult patients, 30 in the study group and 30 in the control group, who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria.
In this study, the effect of dynamic neuromuscular stabilization (DNS) exercise on urinary flow and quality of life in individuals with dysfunctional voiding was investigated. The 34 participants included in the study were randomized into two groups: the experiment in which DNS exercises were applied and the standard therapy group in which the manual application was applied. Uroflowmetry, Voiding Symptom Score (DVSS), Short Form-36 Quality of Life Assessment Short Form were applied to all participants at baseline and at week 6.

One of them is a new OCT-based staging scheme based on displacement and reorganization of inner retinal layers called ectopic inner retinal layers (EIFL). We evaluated pre-and perioperative factors related to time for evolution of EIFL.

In idiopathic scoliosis, scoliosis-specific exercises are utilized as a primary treatment for moderate curves and as a supportive measure alongside bracing for more severe curves. SEAS, which stands for Scientific Exercises Approach to Scoliosis, refers to a treatment approach developed as a scientific exercise methodology for scoliosis. This approach aims to provide scoliosis-specific exercises and techniques to manage and potentially improve the condition. This study aims to investigate the effectiveness of SEAS as a conservative treatment approach for mild AIS.
Caffeine is a psycho-active substance that is widely consumed in the world. It is seen that its widespread consumption is related to expectancies of consumption as well as cultural factors. Recreationally active individuals may have various expectations from caffeine consumption in line with their lifestyles and goals such as physical, social and/or other aspects. It can be stated that caffeine consumption expectancies have an important role in the process of evaluating consumption patterns. However, in the literature it seems to be very limited information about expectancies related to caffeine consumption. In this direction, the aim of the research was to test the compatibility of Brief-Caffeine Expectancy Questionnaire (B-CaffeQ) to Turkish culture and language. In the study, data will be collected from two separate participant groups and going to analysis. To reveal the structure on the first group (n=250-300 approx.) data, Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA), and to verify the structure on the second group (n=313) data, Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) will be used. Reliability will be assessed by performing test-retest and internal consistency analyzes on both the two data groups.
In this study; it's aimed to reduce injection pain during the practice of scalp block, which is used as a method of anesthesia in patients who underwent awake craniotomy surgery. For this purpose, the investigators used topical vibration stimulation, which is non-invasive procedure.
