There are about 3709 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Thailand. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
This study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of aerobic exercise combined with diaphragmatic breathing exercise on pulmonary function and smoking cessation among smokers.
This intervention study aims to investigate the effects of the m-Health supportive care transition program on response patterns (transition stress and the burden of caregiving) among traumatic brain injury (TBI) caregivers and patients' readmission rate one month after hospital discharge. Specific objectives: 1. Compare the response patterns (transition stress and the burden of caregiving) of TBI caregivers before and after receiving the program within the group. 2. Compare TBI caregivers' response patterns (transition stress and the burden of caregiving) between the control and intervention groups. 3. Compare patients' readmission rates at one month after hospital discharge between the control and intervention groups TBI caregivers are divided into two groups: the intervention group (who receive the transitional care program) and the control group (who receive the standard care program) according to standard operating procedures applicable in the hospital. If there is a comparison group: Researchers will compare [insert groups] to see if [insert effects]
The RISE project aims to understand how future climate change may compromise traditional food systems (TFS) by altering related human-nature interactions. A comparative case study approach coupling on-site socioeconomic, nutritional, and ecological surveys of the target indigenous socioecological systems (ISES) of Karen (Kanchanaburi, Thailand) and Sakha (Republic of Sakha, Russian Federation) people with statistical models projecting future changes in the distribution and composition of traditional food species under contrasting climate change scenarios.
This study will be divided into 2 sub-study 1) To investigate the effects of 1 mA, 1.5 mA, and 2 mA of bilateral- tDCS on cortical activity and motor/cognitive performances in healthy individuals 2) To investigate the effects of 1 mA, 1.5 mA, and 2 mA of cathodal-tDCS on cortical activity and motor/cognitive performances in healthy individuals.
In describing the iodine status involving health conditions of the minority groups, this observational study aims to learn about the iodine status of the Indigenous Peoples (Karen) in a subdistrict in western Thailand. The Participants will be collected their urine to determine urinary iodine concentrations At the same time, their household salt will be also collected to determine iodine content.
This study aimed to study the efficacy of Whitfield's solution, zinc oxide nanoparticles solution, and the combination of Whitfield's and zinc oxide nanoparticles solution in treating fungal feet infection.
To study the prevalence of sarcopenia in a pre-retirement group with chronic lower back pain and factors associated between sarcopenia and chronic lower back pain in the pre-retirement group.
Iron deficiency (ID) continues to be one of the most prevalent disorders, which can adversely affect cognitive ability in childhood. Our aim was to determine the effect of a dietary iron education program (DIP) on children's iron status and intelligence quotient (IQ) score. This pre-test (week 1) post-test (week 16) quasi-experimental study with follow-up (week 18) utilized constructs from the Health Belief Model. Children and caregivers participated in the DIP which incorporated group talks, presentations, brainstorming, game-based learning and cooking sessions from weeks 2-15. Knowledge of ID and dietary iron, perceived susceptibility and severity, benefits and barriers for changing behavior, dietary intake, iron status and IQ score were determined at all timepoints (weeks 1, 16, and 18).
The goal of this interventional study is to make people in a community realize negative effects of obesity on health, and how to tackle it by adopting a lifestyle modification for weight reduction. Adults aged 20 years old or more with obesity (BMI ≥ 25 kg/m2) or waist circumference ≥ 80 cm in women and ≥ 90 cm in men were recruited. All participants received an educational session of lifestyle modification for weight reduction on the first day of study. Participants were then assigned to either continuously receive education (video clips and infographics) via application LINE, or no further education. The main questions it aims to answer are: 1. Whether or not an educational session of lifestyle modification leads to weight reduction. 2. Whether or not a weight loss by a continuous education via an online application is more effective than not receiving it.
The purpose of this study was to determine the effects of exercise at different temperatures on nasal blood flow and symptoms in allergic rhinitis patients.
