There are about 2143 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Slovakia. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
The purpose of the study is to determine if the study drug (alirocumab)administered every 4 weeks, given by injection under the skin is effective and safe compared with placebo in lowering cholesterol, if used alone or added to the participants' current cholesterol-lowering medication.
The purpose of this study is to assess the safety and tolerability of initiating LCZ696 in heart failure patients with reduced ejection fraction (HF-rEF) using conservative (reaching target dose over 6 weeks) and condensed (reaching target dose over 3 weeks) up-titration regimens.
Study to evaluate the efficacy of Lacosamide (LCM) administered in addition to 1 to ≤3 other Anti-Epileptic Drugs in subjects with epilepsy ≥4 years to <17 years of age who currently have uncontrolled partial onset seizures.
The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effect of LCZ696 compared to valsartan in the reduction of cardiovascular death and heart failure(HF) hospitalizations in patients with HF with preserved ejection fraction.
The purpose of this study was to see if adding a new type of medication recently approved to treat overactive bladder (mirabegron) to an antimuscarinic treatment (solifenacin) would be more effective in controlling incontinence than when using the antimuscarinic treatment alone.
This multicenter, open-label, single-arm study will evaluate the safety and efficacy of obinutuzumab alone or in combination with chemotherapy in participants with previously untreated or relapsed/refractory chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL). This is a Post-Authorization Safety Study. Participants will receive 6 cycles of single-agent obinutuzumab or obinutuzumab in combination with chemotherapy at the investigator's discretion. Each participant will be followed until 30 months after the last participant has been enrolled. Total length of the study is anticipated to be approximately 5 years.
The purpose of this study is to determine whether injections of Botulinum toxin type A into muscles of the leg(s) or of leg(s) and one arm are safe in treating children/adolescents (age 2-17 years) long-term with increased muscle tension/uncontrollable muscle stiffness (spasticity) due to cerebral palsy.
This study aims to evaluate the analgesic efficacy of single and repeated doses of fixed combination of dexketoprofen trometamol (DKP) and tramadol hydrochloride (TRAM) in comparison to the single agents (and placebo for the single dose phase only). Approximately 600 female patients presenting moderate to severe pain after a total/subtotal abdominal hysterectomy are eligible to be randomised provided that they experience moderate to severe pain on the day after surgery.
Safety and Tolerability Extension Trial for Patients with Chronic Idiopathic Constipation
The purpose of this study is to determine whether injections of Botulinum toxin type A into muscles of the leg(s) are effective in treating children/adolescents (age 2-17 years) with increased muscle tension/uncontrollable muscle stiffness (spasticity) due to cerebral palsy.
