There are about 2143 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Slovakia. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
Confirm clinical safety and performance of the Pamira lead to support the regulatory post market strategy in Europe and other regions and validating promotional claims by - demonstrating clinical safety - evaluating performance based on sensing and pacing assessment - collecting additional data of interest to assess other aspects such as the handling and usability
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness and safety of deucravacitinib compared with placebo in an active moderate to severe Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE) population.
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of selinexor as a maintenance treatment in patients with p53 wt endometrial carcinoma (EC), who have achieved a partial response (PR) or complete response (CR) (per Response Evaluation Criteria in Solid Tumors version 1.1 [RECIST v 1.1]) after completing at least 12 weeks of platinum-based therapy. A total of 220 participants will be enrolled in the study and randomized in a 1:1 ratio to maintenance therapy with either selinexor or placebo.
The purpose of this clinical trial is to learn about the safety and effects of the study medicine (called marstacimab) for the potential treatment of hemophilia in pediatric patients. This study will enroll pediatric participants from ages 1 to 17 years in a sequential manner. The study will open enrollment to adolescent participants aged 12 to 17 years first. Then children aged 6 to 11 years will be permitted to enroll. Lastly, children aged 1 to 5 years will be permitted to enroll. This study will enroll participants who: - have severe Hemophilia A or moderately severe to severe Hemophilia B (with or without inhibitors) - have accurate historical records documenting all factor VIII, factor IX, or bypass agent infusions and hemophilia bleed events for at least 1 year prior to entering the study - if a non-inhibitor patient, must be on a stable routine prophylaxis regimen with factor VIII or factor IX replacement products for at least 12 months prior to study entry - if an inhibitor patient, must be on an on-demand bypass treatment regimen during the 12 months prior to study entry All participants in this study will receive marstacimab to use prophylactically. Marstacimab will be given once a week as a subcutaneous (under the skin) shot. The first dose of marstacimab will be given at the study site by the study site staff. During the 12-month treatment period, weekly doses of marstacimab can be given at home, or if preferred, the doses may be given by the study site staff. To help us determine if the study medicine is safe and effective, we will compare participant experiences when they are taking the study medicine to a historical period when they were not. Researchers want to see if the study medicine works to prevent the bleeding episodes commonly experienced by patients with Hemophilia. Participants will be in this study for about 14 months (approximately 1 month in a Screening period, 12 months receiving treatment, and 1 month in a follow-up period) during which they will visit the study site at least 10 times. If preferred, and if local regulations allow it, 2 of the study visits can be completed at the participant's home instead of at the study site. There will also be 6 scheduled telephone calls approximately every 2 months.
This is a Phase 2b randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study to evaluate the safety and efficacy of three active dose regimens of MORF-057 in adult patients with moderately to severely active Ulcerative Colitis (UC).
The purpose of the study is to evaluate the effect of olezarsen on percent change in fasting triglyceride (TG) levels compared to placebo in participants with hypertriglyceridemia and atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease, or with severe hypertriglyceridemia.
Surgical correction of the prolapse in the anterior compartment remains one of the major challenges in urogynecology. Paravaginal defect in level II of vaginal fixation results in the majority of cystoceles. Clinically, these defects are often combined and/or may be bilateral. Hence, careful assessment and individualized planning of the surgical procedure is essential to optimize cystocele repair outcome. Several surgical techniques and approaches have been used for cystocele repair. After the ban on transvaginal meshes, the interest in native tissue repair has risen. Paravaginal defect repair is an effective surgery for paravaginal defect reconstruction. There is a current trend to utilize transvaginal surgery instead of more invasive transabdominal surgery. A novel method of transvaginal paravaginal defect repair - TOCR (transobturator cystocele repair) was suggested. The principle objective of the present trial is to compare its efficacy and safety to preexisting method of native tissue cystocele repair.
Atopic dermatitis (AD) is a skin condition that may cause a rash and itching due to inflammation of the skin. Therapies spread over the skin may not be enough to control the AD in trial participants who require systemic anti-inflammatory treatment. This study compares upadacitinib to dupilumab in adolescent and adult participants with moderate to severe AD who have inadequate response to systemic therapies. Adverse events and change in the disease activity will be assessed. Upadacitinib and dupilumab are approved drugs for the treatment of moderate to severe atopic dermatitis (AD). The study is comprised of a 35-day Screening Period, a 16-week treatment period 1 and a 16-week treatment period 2. During period 1, participants are randomly assigned in 1 of 2 groups, called treatment arms to receive upadacitinib Dose A or dupilumab. In Period 2, participants will receive upadacitinib Dose A or Dose B. Approximately 880 adolescent and adult participants ages 12 to 64 with moderate to severe AD who are candidates for systemic therapy will be enrolled at up to 330 sites worldwide. Participants will receive upadacitinib oral tablets once daily or dupilumab as per its label for 32 weeks and followed for 30 days. There may be higher treatment burden for participants in this trial compared to their standard of care . Participants will attend regular visits during the study at a hospital or clinic. The effect of the treatment will be checked by medical assessments, blood tests, checking for side effects and completing questionnaires.
This is a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, parallel-arm, Phase 3 study of BLU-5937 in participants with Refractory Chronic Cough (RCC).
A randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled multicenter, phase 3 study to evaluate the efficacy and safety of tezepelumab administered subcutaneously (SC) using an accessorized pre-filled syringe (APFS) versus placebo in adult and adolescent patients with eosinophilic esophagitis (EoE).
