The study has two parts: Part 1: To evaluate, for adult female patients diagnosed with chronic widespread pain (including fibromyalgia), the effects of Free Movement Dance as an add-on intervention after interdisciplinary pain management/rehabilitation at a specialist pain clinic versus modified person-centered progressive resistance exercise. The cognitive-behavioural conceptualization of pain, effects on pain intensity, physical function, self-efficacy, pain catastrophizing, health related quality of life, anxiety and depression symptoms and quality of sleep will be evaluated. Part 2: To develop a theoretically informed understanding of the processes of Free Movement Dance as an add-on intervention after interdisciplinary pain management/rehabilitation at a specialist pain clinic for adult female patients diagnosed with chronic widespread pain (including fibromyalgia).

Cardiometabolic risk in patients with abdominal obesity and type 1 diabetes can be moderated by life style modifications. There is an intimate link between gene regulation and circadian rhythm in mediating response to exercise in a variety of insulin sensitive organs. The aim of this project is to evaluate, by intervention, the interplay of circadian rhythm and high intensity interval training (HIIT) on glucose control and skeletal muscle metabolism in patients with overweight with or without type 1 diabetes (T1D).

This is a quality register for the monitoring of clinical assessment and treatment for gambling disorder and gaming disorder in Swedish health care. This register is held by Region Skåne, the health care organization of Skåne in southern Sweden, and administered by Register center South, which is associated with health care services in the southern regions of Sweden (the establishment of quality registers in Swedish health care relies upon a national legislation). Quality registers by themselves do not represent formal research projects. However, future research projects can use quality registers, such as the present one, as a data source for future research projects in case they are approved by an ethics authority. Clinical study variables collected in the register include the following (examples): - gender, age, occupation, living conditions - if applicable, types of gambling associated with the treatment needs - if applicable, type of problematic video gaming - type of referral to the present treatment contact - treatment history in psychiatry, social services, enforcement agency - history of suicidal behavior - alcohol and drugs problems requiring assessment or treatment - violence victimization - type of treatment provided to the patient

The Glaucoma Nicotinamide Trial (TGNT) is a prospective, randomized, placebo-controlled double-masked clinical trial composed of two cohorts; The Swedish Glaucoma Nicotinamide Trial (SGNT) and the Vitamin B3 In Glaucoma Study (VBIGS). Patients with open-angle glaucoma (OAG) will be randomized to receive either Nicotinamide or placebo through block randomization stratified by glaucoma subtype with a 1:1 allocation.

Functional Outcome After EPL-rupture After Distal Radius Fracture

Rupture of the extensor pollicis longus, (EPL) is a common complication after distal radius fractures. A rupture prevents the thumb extension, which in turn has a negative impact on hand function. An EPL-rupture can either be surgically treated by primary suture, which means that the ends of the tendon are sutured. This is however not recommended if the tendon is weakened. In such cases the rupture can be treated by a transfer of, most often, extensor indicis proprius (EIP) to the thumb. Distal radius fractures are common and a rupture of the EPL-tendon is a known complication thar interferes with hand function and therefore more studies on this patient group are warranted. The aim of this prospective study is to compare regaining of thumb function after surgery, with the non-injured side, after primary suture and EIP-transfer after EPL-rupture as a complication following distal radius fracture.

Lymphedema After Urologic Surgery

Lymphedema of the extremities is common after lymph node surgery in treating several forms of cancer, e.g., breast cancer. However, very little is known of the occurrence of lymphedema of the lower extremities after urologic surgery with lymph node dissection. This project aims to describe the frequency and grade of lymphedema arising after urologic surgery, using the Lymphedema Quality of Life Questionnaire (LymQOL), Delfin MoistureMeter D, and lower limb volume measurements.
