The reports of this trial would deliver the latest evidence and proper guidelines for the prescription of physical exercises and also provide an optimal dietary plan in sarcopenia patients with COVID infection. Objective: To find and compare the clinical and psychological effects of integrated physical training with a high protein diet versus a low-protein diet in community-dwelling COVID-19 asymptomatic older adults with Sarcopenia symptoms.

Effects of Dry Needling With a Standard Exercise Programme on Pain and Quality of Life in Patients With Chronic Mechanical Neck Pain

Abstract\sBackground Physical therapists frequently utilize dry needling (DN), which focuses on trigger points and non-trigger point structures, to treat mechanical neck pain (MNP). It is an invasive procedure that involves inserting solid fiber needles into myofascial trigger points or hyperirritable nodules that are painful to the touch. This procedure can affect the motor and autonomic neurons and relieve pain. Objectives examining the short-term effects of dry needling in combination with a standardized exercise program on pain and quality of life in chronic mechanical neck pain Methods The allocation of 18 participants to the DN or Exercise intervention groups will be done at random. Before the exam, the Beck Depression Inventory (BDI), Neck Disability Index (NDI), Short Form-36 Quality of Life Scale, and Numerical Rating Scale (NPS-11) will be evaluated. Analytical Statistics For the statistical analysis of the data, SPSS 23.0 will be employed. The "Kolmogorov-Smirnov test" will be used to determine whether the data are distributed normally. The effectiveness of each intervention will be determined using a paired t test, and between-group comparisons will be made using an independent t test. The distribution of categorical variables will be compared using a chi-square test. A 95% confidence interval and p0.05 will be used to determine significance. Primary objective: To assess the disease control of moderate to severe atopic dermatitis in patients aged 12 years and above treated with dupilumab therapy using Atopic Dermatitis Control Tool (ADCT) after 24 weeks of treatment. Secondary objectives: - To figure the proportion of patients with reduction of ADCT score by 5 points after 4, 12, and 24 weeks of treatment. - To figure the proportion of patients with ADCT score less than 7 at weeks 4, 12, and 24. - Assess the effectiveness of dupilumab in moderate to severe atopic dermatitis (AD) patients, using the severity score as routine practice SCORing Atopic Dermatitis (SCORAD). - To describe comorbidities related to type 2 inflammation. - To characterize the safety profile of dupilumab in the local Gulf population. - To evaluate treatment satisfaction in the local Gulf population.

College of Medicine, DAU University, is a private college, located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, which launched its activity in 2013. Since that time, there is a continuous increase in the number of students, especially during the last three years after the graduation of the first batch, which is not associated with the recruitment of new faculty. Of course, this increase in the number of students has affected greatly the interaction between the instructors and the students. Another challenging point is the short time assigned for most of the preclinical years' courses as most of our blocks have 5-8 weeks duration with a lot of work needed to be done to help students demonstrate mastery of the intended learning outcomes. As a response to these problems, the investigators sought to pilot testing flipping the classroom of clinical skill sessions as a new educational approach in our college.

This study was designed to assess the effect of inspiratory and expiratory muscle training in the same cycle on respiratory muscle strength, pulmonary functions, perception of asthma symptoms in children with bronchial asthma. Fifty-one children with bronchial asthma were randomly allocated to the unloaded respiratory muscle training (Placebo training group; n = 17), inspiratory muscle training alone (inspiratory muscle training group; n = 17), or combined inspiratory and expiratory muscle training in the same cycle (combined training group; n = 17). All groups were assessed for respiratory muscle strength, pulmonary functions, and asthma symptoms.
