Cabazitaxel at 20 mg/m² Compared to 25 mg/m² With Prednisone for the Treatment of Metastatic Castration Resistant Prostate Cancer

Primary Objective: - To demonstrate the non inferiority in term of overall survival (OS) of cabazitaxel 20 mg/m² (Arm A) versus cabazitaxel 25 mg/m² (Arm B) in combination with prednisone in patients with metastatic castration resistant prostate cancer (MCRPC) previously treated with a docetaxel-containing regimen. Secondary Objectives: - To evaluate safety in the 2 treatment arms and to assess if cabazitaxel 20 mg/m² is better tolerated than cabazitaxel 25 mg/m². - To compare efficacy of cabazitaxel at 20 mg/m² and 25 mg/m² for: - Progression Free Survival (PFS) defined as the first occurrence of any of the following events: tumor progression per Response Evaluation Criteria In Solid Tumors (RECIST), PSA progression, pain progression or death due to any cause - Prostate-Specific Antigen (PSA)-Progression - Pain progression - Tumor response in patients with measurable disease (RECIST 1.1). - PSA response - Pain response in patients with stable pain at baseline. - To compare Health-related Quality of Life (HRQL) - To assess the pharmacokinetics and pharmacogenomics of cabazitaxel

Primary Objective: - To demonstrate the superiority of cabazitaxel plus prednisone at 25 mg/m^2 (Arm A) or 20 mg/m^2 (Arm B) versus docetaxel plus prednisone (Arm C) in term of overall survival (OS) in participants with metastatic castration resistant prostate cancer (mCRPC) and not previously treated with chemotherapy. Study of Contraceptive Efficacy & Safety of Phexxi™ (Previously Known as Amphora) Gel Compared to Conceptrol Vaginal Gel

This is a research study of a new experimental vaginal gel that helps in vaginal pH regulation and results in immobilization of spermatozoa by maintaining the normally low vaginal pH, even in the presence of semen. This vaginal gel is called Phexxi™ (previously known as Amphora) and was compared to a commercially available spermicide called Conceptrol®, which contains nonoxynol 9; commonly abbreviated as N-9. Conceptrol® can help prevent pregnancy. This study objective was to determine if this product prevents pregnancy when inserted into the vagina before intercourse.

Study of Nifedipine GITS and Candesartan Combination Compared to Monotherapy in Patients With Essential Hypertension

The purpose of this study is to determine the blood pressure lowering responses of various dose combinations of nifedipine GITS and candesartan as compared to treatment with each component on their own (monotherapy) and placebo (a look-alike tablet without active ingredient). The drugs - nifedipine GITS and candesartan - which are being investigated are currently approved for use in patients with essential hypertension alone or together with other antihypertensive drugs (combination therapy), but the optimal dose of nifedipine GITS and candesartan used together in the treatment of essential hypertension has not been established yet. In this study patients will be treated with various doses of nifedipine GITS and/or candesartan or placebo. These different regimens will be administered once a day and will be assessed based on their blood pressure lowering effects (mean sitting diastolic blood pressure) in subjects with mild to moderate essential hypertension.

This study is designed to confirm if 8mg of fesoterodine is more effective in reducing overactive bladder symptoms than 4mg of fesoterodine. The study also assesses the side effects and safety of the two doses.
