There are about 9702 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Poland. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
This trial aimed to test internet-based Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) intervention to induce a meaning-making process in cancer patients following hematopoietic cell transplantation (HCT). ACT includes identifying personal values and engaging in activities consistent with these values, developing acceptance, as well as focusing on the present moment or performing activities with greater awareness. In total, 192 patients following the first (autologous or allogeneic) HCT will be randomly assigned in equal numbers to either the ACT intervention or an education session. Participants in both conditions will take part in 14-day training (about 5-10 minutes a day). The outcomes will be measured at baseline, during the intervention, immediately, 1 month, and 3 months after the intervention. Moreover, 6-9 additional participants will be randomly assigned to pre-intervention measurement length (1-3 weeks) before completing ACT intervention, followed by 7-day observations at the 2nd and 3rd post-intervention measure. The researchers hypothesized that ACT intervention would foster a meaning-making process and thus reduce distress induced by the discrepancy between global and situational meaning as compared to education.
The goal of this study is to assess and compare the safety and tolerability of salbutamol administered via metered dose inhaler (MDI) containing propellant 1,1-difluoroethane (HFA-152a) or 1,1,1,2-tetrafluoroethane (HFA-134a) in participants aged 12 years and above with asthma.
The aim of this prospective, investigator-initiated study is to evaluate the diagnostic accuracy and correlations between functional indices (fractional flow reserve, FFR) and morphometric indices: luminal and qualitative parameters assessed by optical coherence tomography (OCT) including minimal lumen area, plaque type, presence of thin cap fibroatheroma among patients with chronic coronary syndrome identified with intermediate grade coronary stenosis.
It is a randomized, single-center, controlled trial to evaluate the effectiveness of oral immunotherapy with low-dose sesame protein compared with standard treatment (elimination diet) in patients with sesame allergy.
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy of guselkumab in pediatric participants with moderately to severely active ulcerative colitis at the end of maintenance therapy among participants who were induction responders.
This prospective, single-centre, open-label, randomized study aims to determine whether coordinated care in administering protective vaccinations (against Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) and influenza) impacts the prognosis of patients with chronic heart failure. The main question it aims to answer is: • Does coordinated care through vaccinations improve the prognosis of patients with chronic heart failure?
The goal of this clinical trial is to demonstrate the effectiveness of early therapy in 14 patients with a distal radius fracture DRF resulting from injury, as the study group. Assess hand function of patients who underwent surgical repair of distal radius fractures using the open reduction internal fixation method (ORIF), compared to their nonoperated limb, after 6 months of early rehabilitation. The main questions it aims to answer are: 1. Significantly faster recovery of independence from daily activities by the patient. 2. For economic reasons, patients often expect to return to work as soon as possible. Participants will be subjected to functional examination to assess hand function of patients who underwent surgical repair of distal radius fractures using the open reduction internal fixation method.
This cross-sectional study aims to perform a population-based assessment of the incidence of decay, dental fillings, root canal fillings, endodontic lesions, implants, implant and dental abutment crowns, pontic crowns, and missing teeth, taking into account the location.
The goal of this study is to assess the safety and effectiveness of Dostarlimab compared to Placebo in adult participants with HNSCC (Head and Neck Squamous Cell Carcinoma)
Fractional flow reserve (FFR) has revolutionized the diagnosis and treatment of coronary artery disease (CAD), and more recently, post percutaneous coronary intervention (post-PCI) FFR has emerged as an independent predictor of cardiovascular events, enabling the identification of cases requiring additional optimization of the implanted stent. Modern technologies allow less invasive alternatives to traditional FFR measurement - angiography-based vessel fractional flow reserve (vFFR) and derivative ΔvFFR, which is calculated by a difference between the post-PCI vFFR and pre-PCI vFFR. In large clinical studies, the good accuracy between vFFR and FFR - measured before and after PCI - has been confirmed. However, insufficient data is available about the value of post-vFFR and ΔvFFR as prognostic values and indicators of patient health. This is a prospective multicenter register study analyzing the association between the value of ΔvFFR, vFFR after PCI and adverse clinical outcomes, residual angina and quality of life using the validated Seattle Angina Questionnaire (SAQ) and EuroQol 5-level 5-dimensional questionnaire (EQ-5D-5L). Patients undergoing PCI for chronic coronary syndromes (CCS), non-ST-segment elevation acute coronary syndromes (NST-ACS) or ST-Segment Elevation Myocardial Infarction (STEMI) will be enrolled in this study.
