There are about 9702 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Poland. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
The main objective of the study is to evaluate the influence of caffeine intake on participants' energetic arousal, affect, motivation to achieve a training goal, satisfaction with training, and the sense of agency during training. Consequently, participants will engage in three sessions: caffeine, placebo, and no substance (in counterbalanced order). During each session, their affective and motivational states will be assessed, along with the performance of a standardized physical exercise test. The investigators hypothesize that participants who consume caffeine (caffeine condition) will exhibit higher levels of energy and motivation compared to the other two groups. Additionally, they are expected to experience greater optimism and expectancy regarding their training goals and achieve better results in the physical exercise test. A secondary aim of the study is to examine the impact of genetic variability on motivational and affective states of participants, as well as their performance in the physical exercise test after caffeine. The investigators will assess the CYP1A2 (-163C > A, rs762551; characterized such as "fast" (AA genotype) and "slow" caffeine metabolizers (C-carriers)) and ADORA2A (1976T > C; rs5751876; characterized by "high" (TT genotype) or "low" sensitivity to caffeine (C-carriers)).
Purpose of this study was to assess the relationship between the visual impairment degree and the level of children's fundamental motor skills, balance and bilateral coordination.
TripleTRE investigates the effect of initial triple combination therapy (oral endothelin receptor antagonist (ERA) + oral phosphodiesterase tyüe-5 inhibitor (PDE-5i) + parenteral treprostinil) compared to double oral therapy (oral ERA + oral PDE-5i) in pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) patients (group I) with intermediate-high risk or patients with intermediate-low risk with severe hemodynamic impairment at baseline in a prospective, randomized, unblinded setting with scope of increasing evidence for optimization of therapy concepts in PAH. The effect of initial triple combination therapy vs initial double oral therapy (standard of care (SoC)) will be measured by primary endpoint: (non)response to the assigned treatment.
Study to assess the prevalence of central sleep apnea in patients with heart failure with reduced or mildly reduced left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF <50%) followed by case-control study to assess the link between central sleep apnea and cognitive function
Evaluate whether education, a simple doctor's recommendation to increase physical activity in inactive patients, and self-monitoring of physical activity using a pedometer were effective and beneficial for patients with pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH)
The present study was set-up to evaluate clinical efficacy of Pixie CO2 versus a comparator product (Wortie®) for the treatment of common and plantar warts.
This is a Phase III, international, multi-centre, randomised, double-blind, parallel-group, double-dummy, active-controlled, event-driven study in patients with chronic HF and impaired kidney function who had a recent HF event. The aim is to evaluate the effect of balcinrenone/dapagliflozin vs dapagliflozin, given once daily on top of other classes of SoC, on CV death and HF events.
The goal of this clinical trial is to learn about colostrum as a cosmetic in mature skin. . The aim of the study was to examine the effect of a cosmetic preparation containing sheep colostrum on skin with signs of aging in mature women Participants will be given the creams and asked to apply one -two doses in the evening after nighttime facial cleaning. They were also asked to use sunscreens during the day. During the first visit and after eight weeks of everyday use of the tested cream, the skin parameters will be measured three times on both cheeks, and the results were averaged. Participants will be enrolled to the colostrum cream or base cream groups and will not be informed which group they belonged to.
The purpose of this study is to assess the safety and efficacy of V940 in combination with pembrolizumab (MK-3475) compared to pembrolizumab alone as an adjuvant treatment for participants with pathologic high-risk muscle-invasive urothelial carcinoma (MIUC) after radical resection. The primary study hypothesis is that V940 in combination with pembrolizumab results in a superior disease-free survival (DFS) as assessed by the investigator compared to pembrolizumab alone in participants with high-risk MIUC after radical resection.
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effect of dapagliflozin on the incidence of cancer therapeutics-related cardiac dysfunction in patients with breast cancer receiving anthracycline treatment.
