Myofascial pelvic pain (MFPP) caused by myofascial trigger points (MTrPs) is a major contributor to chronic pelvic pain in women. In females, pelvic pain is the single most common indication for referral to women's health services.Pelvic floor physical therapy with myofascial release improve mobility and reduce pain by releasing the painful trigger points.Tools that will be used, for pain numerical pain scale (NPS),functional pelvic pain scale(FPPS) and pelvic floor impact questionnaire-7 will be used to asses pain and functionality.
To study the effects of kegal exercises with and without postural correction on pelvic organ prolapse in primiparous women. Although pregnancy is a physiological process, it is associated with risk factors. These risk factors can put women at risk. One of the most common problems is pelvic floor muscle weakness, and this weakness of pelvic floor muscles causes many other problems, such as pelvic organ prolapse. Normal delivery (vaginal delivery) can cause laxity and weakness of ligaments such as the external urethral and pubourethral. Pelvic organs prolapse severely affects the quality of life of patients. Pelvic organ prolapse appears in women after vaginal delivery. Pelvic muscle training is a conservative treatment for many problems, including pelvic organ prolapse. However, the effects of pelvic floor muscle training for pelvic organ prolapse in primiparous women are controversial. This study is aimed at a systematic review of the effects of pelvic floor muscle training on pelvic organ prolapse in primiparous women.
This study is designed to study the immunogenicity and safety of sIPV co-administered with other routine infant vaccines. According to the national immunization schedule of Bangladesh and Pakistan, sIPV was administered concomitantly with PCV10, DTP-HeB-Hib and other vaccines at 6, 10 and 14 weeks old. Thus, this study set up the concomitant vaccination schedule according to the real practice in study area. The primary hypothesis of this study is the seroconversion rate of polio vaccination when administered concomitantly with routine vaccines, is non-inferior to that when administered alone; the secondary hypothesis of this study is the seropositivity rate of diphtheria, tetanus, and pertussis when routine vaccines are administered concomitantly with sIPV, is non-inferior to that administered without sIPV.
This is a randomized clinical trial comparing the anaesthetic efficacy of 1.8 and 3.6 mL of Articaine for inferior alveolar nerve block when treating mandibular molars with Irreversible Pulpitis
This is a randomized, prospective, double-blind, clinical trial to assess the effect of 3% and 6% sodium hypochlorite (NaOCl) as irrigant on postendodontic pain and rescue medication intake following single visit root canal treatment
Amoxicillin or Amoxicillin/Clavulanic acid antibiotic therapy has been shown to be associated with disrupting the microbiota population particularly Bifidobacterium, which may have further GI clinical implications. The present randomized clinical trial is aimed to assess if probiotic Bifidobacterium breve PRL2020 can help modulate the Bifidobacterium population and its clinical implications after antibiotic Amoxicillin or Amoxicillin/Clavulanic acid antibiotic therapy.
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the impact of Benazir Nashonuma Program (BNP) which includes specialized nutritious food (SNF) augmented with specific reproductive health interventions during pregnancy on proportion of low birthweight babies and stunting among children, in low income setting of Pakistan. The study aims to answer if: 1. Utilization of Benazir Nashonuma Program (BNP) among pregnant women is effective in reducing the proportion of low birthweight babies, compared to pregnant women who are not utilizing the program, among low income setting population. 2. Utilization of Benazir Nashonuma Program (BNP) is effective in reducing the proportion of stunting among children, compared to those not utilizing the program, among low income setting population. Participants who are enrolled in the Benazir Nashonuma Program (receiving intervention) and those who are not enrolled (not receiving intervention) will be followed throughout pregnancy till delivery. After delivery mother-baby dyad will be followed for a period of 12 months. Compliance of supplementation will be measured, and outcomes (low birthweight and stunting) observed throughout the follow up.
