There are about 1254 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Peru. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
The objectives of the study are to evaluate the pharmacokinetics (PK), safety, and efficacy of WR 279,396 (Paromomycin + Gentamicin Topical Cream) and Paromomycin Topical Cream in subjects with cutaneous leishmaniasis (CL).
This randomized, two-arm study evaluated the efficacy and safety of a combination of trastuzumab and capecitabine with or without pertuzumab in patients with human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2)-positive metastatic breast cancer. The study population consisted of female patients, whose disease had progressed during or following previous trastuzumab therapy for metastatic disease. All patients in Arm A and Arm B received trastuzumab (8 mg/kg iv as loading dose and then 6 mg/kg iv every 3 weeks thereafter) and capecitabine oral twice daily for 14 days every 3 weeks (1250 mg/m2 twice daily in Arm A and 1000 mg/m2 twice daily in Arm B). In addition, patients in Arm B received pertuzumab (840 mg iv as loading dose and then 420 mg iv thereafter) every 3 weeks. Study treatment continued until disease progression or unacceptable toxicity.
The purpose of this study is to determine if there is improvement or measurable change in cognition after only one month of treatment with donepezil when using a computerized test battery. The results at one month will be compared with the results at 3 months to evaluate this.
The primary aim is to evaluate Efficacy, Safety and Tolerability of AZD1656 as Add-on Treatment to Metformin in TD2M Patients
The Purpose of this study is to assess the efficacy and safety of three strengths of the FF/GW642444 Inhalation Powder in subject with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD)
The purpose of this study is to determine the efficacy, safety, and immunogenicity of an investigational vaccine being developed for the treatment of leishmaniasis, including cutaneous leishmaniasis (CL). The vaccine, identified as LEISH-F2 + MPL-SE, consists of a Leishmania protein (LEISH-F2) together with an adjuvant MPL-SE.
The Purpose of this study is to assess the efficacy and safety of three strengths of the FF/GW642444 Inhalation Powder in subject with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD)
This randomized, double-blind, parallel group study will assess the safety, disease remission, and prevention of structural joint damage in patients with early moderate to severe rheumatoid arthritis treated with tocilizumab as monotherapy or in combination with methotrexate, versus methotrexate alone. Patients will be randomized to receive either (A) tocilizumab (8 mg/kg iv every 4 weeks) plus placebo, (B) tocilizumab (8 mg/kg iv every 4 weeks) plus methotrexate (7.5-20 mg po weekly), (C) tocilizumab (4 mg/kg iv every 4 weeks) plus methotrexate (7.5-20 mg po weekly), or (D) placebo plus methotrexate (7.5-20 mg po weekly). Patients in groups C and D who have not achieved low disease activity at week 52 can receive tocilizumab 8 mg/kg iv every 4 weeks. Anticipated time on study treatment is 104 weeks.
The purpose of this study is to provide atazanavir or tenofovir-emtricitabine to HIV-infected subjects who have completed atazanavir or tenofovir-emtricitabine therapy on a previous BMS sponsored clinical trial
The main purpose of this study is to assess the long term bronchodilator efficacy, safety and tolerability of inhaled aclidinium bromide at two dose levels compared to placebo in COPD patients and the benefits of the product in disease-related health status, COPD symptoms and COPD exacerbations.
