There are about 13332 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Netherlands. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
Dropout rates for fertility treatments are high. This study will examine the rate of patients that drop out during any type of subfertility work up or treatment. Furthermore, we will determine what reasons for discontinuation are and we will identify the demographic characteristics of the couples and the prognostic factors for drop out during assessment or treatment at a Fertility Centre in the Isala (Zwolle), Erasmus University Centre (Rotterdam), Elisabeth Twee Steden Hospital (Tilburg), Reinier de Graaf Group (Voorburg), St Antonius Hospital (Nieuwegein), Maxima Medical Centre (Veldhoven) and Noordwest Hospital Group (Den Helder/Alkmaar) in The Netherlands.
This study is a randomized, double-blind, double-dummy, parallel group, multicenter, non-inferiority study. The study will enroll adult and adolescent asthmatic subjects who are currently receiving mid dose inhaled corticosteroids (ICS) plus long-acting beta2-agonist (LABA) (equivalent to fluticasone propionate [FP]/salmeterol 250/50 microgram [mcg]twice daily [BD]), either via a fixed dose combination product or through separate inhalers. The study consists of a LABA washout period of 5 days and a run-in period of 4 weeks, followed by a treatment period of 24 weeks, and a follow up contact period of one week. The total duration of the study is 30 weeks. Approximately 1461 subjects will be randomized to one of the following three treatments (487 per treatment): fluticasone furoate (FF)/vilanterol (VI) 100/25 mcg once daily (OD) in the evening (PM) via ELLIPTA™ inhaler plus placebo BD via ACCUHALER™/DISKUS™; FP/salmeterol 250/50 mcg BD via ACCUHALER/DISKUS inhaler plus placebo OD (PM) via ELLIPTA inhaler; FP 250 mcg BD via ACCUHALER/DISKUS inhaler plus placebo OD (PM) via ELLIPTA inhaler. In addition, all subjects will be supplied with albuterol/salbutamol inhalation aerosol to use as needed to treat acute asthma symptoms. This study will determine if FF/VI 100/25 mcg OD via ELLIPTA inhaler is non-inferior to FP/salmeterol 250/50 mcg BD via ACCUHALER/DISKUS inhaler in adult and adolescent asthmatic subjects already adequately controlled on a twice-daily ICS/LABA. SERETIDE, ELLIPTA, ACCUHALER, RELVAR, and DISKUS are trademarks of the GlaxoSmithKline Group of Companies.
To evaluate the safety and efficacy of eculizumab in the treatment of refractory generalized myasthenia gravis (gMG) as an extension study for the participants who previously completed Study ECU-MG-301(NCT01997229).
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the implant procedure and feasibility of a new lead developed to pace and sense the left chambers of the heart.
The purpose of this study is to determine whether acetylsalicylic acidis effective on the recurrence and survival of colon cancer patients.
This was a multi-center, randomized, double blind (investigator and subject), placebo controlled Phase II study to determine the efficacy and safety of treatment with ribociclib versus placebo in subjects with progressive relapsed, refractory incurable teratoma. Eligible subjects were randomized in a 2:1 ratio to ribociclib or placebo. After discontinuation of study treatment, patients were followed up for safety, disease progression and overall survival.
The recent development of therapies targeting specific biomarkers mutations is changing the standards of care and prognosis of patients with advanced NSCLC, but very few data are currently available on those emerging biomarkers. In addition, the correlation of biomarkers with patients' clinical outcomes in a standard of care setting is poorly understood. This study aims to address that need.
The purpose of this study is to determine why up to 25% of the pediatric patients who have surgery for a tumor in the posterior fossa develops the Cerebellar Mutism Syndrome (CMS). Furthermore the purpose is to explore the clinical course and the best treatment of the syndrome.
The primary objective of this study is to evaluate the effect of oral eleclazine on mean daytime QTcF interval after 24 weeks of treatment with elecalzine in participants with long QT syndrome Type 3. During the single-blind treatment period (24 weeks), participants will receive eleclazine and/or eleclazine placebo. Following the single-blind treatment period, participants who have not permanently discontinued study drug will be eligible, at the discretion of the investigator, to continue receiving eleclazine during an open-label extension (OLE) phase.
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of volanesorsen given for 26 weeks in participants with Hypertriglyceridemia.
