There are about 13332 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Netherlands. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the Fractyl Duodenal Mucosal Resurfacing (DMR) Procedure for the treatment of Type 2 Diabetes.
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) acquired pneumonia, including ventilator-associated pneumonia, is a frequently occurring health-care associated infection, which causes considerable morbidity, mortality and health care costs. Important pathogens causing ICU pneumonia are Staphylococcus aureus and Pseudomonas aeruginosa. The epidemiology of ICU pneumonia and patient-related and contextual factors is not fully described, but is urgently needed to support the development of effective interventions.
This study further evaluates the safety profile and efficacy of the Ellipse IM HTO Nail system in subjects with osteoarthritis and varus malalignment of the knee. All subjects will receive treatment with the Ellipse IM HTO Nail System and followed for six months.
This is a double-blind, randomized, placebo-controlled, 2-period crossover, 2-cohort study in adult patients with refractory chronic cough. The purpose of the study is to assess the efficacy and safety of inhaled PA101 delivered via eFlow high efficiency nebulizer for treating refractory chronic cough.
Currently there is no consensus on post procedural follow up imaging following percutaneous cryoablation of renal tumors. Interpretation of conventional contrast enhanced imaging (CT and MRI) during follow up can be very challenging. The objective of this study is to evaluate the feasibility of early evaluation of the therapeutic effect by performing early follow up imaging after percutaneous MR-guided cryoablation of pT1a renal cell carcinoma using 111In-Girentuximab-DOTA SPECT CT imaging.
Type 1diabetes (T1D) is caused by autoimmune destruction of the pancreatic islet ß-cells, leading to an absolute deficiency in insulin. In health, regulatory T cells (Tregs) suppress immune responses against normal tissues, and likewise prevent autoimmune diseases. Tregs are insufficient in T1D. The investigators previously showed that administration of low doses of IL-2 induces selective expansion and activation of Tregs in mice and humans. The investigators hypothesize that Tregs expansion and activation with low doses of IL2 could block the ongoing autoimmune destruction of insulin producing cells in patients with recently diagnosed T1D.
Excessive mechanical forces can cause complications of dental implants and their suprastructures (crowns and bridges), and can possibly be destructive for the bone and soft tissues around the implants. Sleep bruxism (grinding and clenching of the teeth during sleep) is considered as an important source of mechanical forces in the oral environment. Therefore, in this study, the investigators will investigate whether sleep bruxism is associated with implant and peri-implant complications.
The study will be an observational, cross-sectional study of knowledge, understanding, and self-reported behavior among a sample of physicians with recent experience in prescribing Diane-35 or its generics in a total of five European countries. The primary objective of this study is to measure physician knowledge and understanding of the key information contained in the Diane-35 educational material: Patient information card, and Prescribers' Checklist. Specifically, the following objectives will be addressed: - Investigate whether physicians have received any educational material related to Diane-35 or its generics - Assess physicians' knowledge and understanding of key safety information pertaining to the patient information card - Assess physicians' knowledge and understanding of key safety information pertaining to the following areas: - Contraindications relevant to thromboembolism - Risk factors for thromboembolism - Signs and symptoms of thromboembolism
The purpose of this clinical trial is to evaluate the effectiveness of the PRECIZON Presbyopic.
To demonstrate in the patient pool of PASI 90 responders at Week 24 that secukinumab 300 mg s.c. when administered at a longer dosing interval is non-inferior to secukinumab 300 mg s.c. every 4 weeks treatment with respect to maintaining a PASI 90 response rate at Week 52.
