There are about 5012 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Mexico. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
The primary aims of this study are to determine if treatment with Gabapentin taken systemically (oral tablets) in patients who have photorefractive keratectomy (PRK) surgical treatments reduces post surgical neuropathic pain and discomfort. The investigators main Hypothesis is that gabapentin given prior to and after refractive surgery prevents central sensitization and local allodynia.
Phase: I pharmacokinetic - pharmacodynamic (PK-PD) study. Main objective: To establish the minimum effective dose of progesterone microspheres suspension, which administered by weekly intramuscular injection, will be able to induce transformation from a proliferative endometrium to a secretory endometrium. Study design: Randomized, controlled, open-label, parallel, dose-response clinical trial. Sites: 1 Subjects: 48 postmenopausal women.
The objective of the study is to evaluate with clinical parameters the performance of Saliwell Crown as a neuro-electrostimulator of the submandibular and sublingual salivary glands in hypofunction status due to polypharmacy or Sjögren's Syndrome in patients with symptoms of xerostomia.
The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of the consumption of yogurt added with bifidobacteria and soluble fiber on gastrointestinal function of healthy adults. A product as herein described is expected to improve gastrointestinal function and maintain the intestinal microflora balance of healthy subjects and perhaps of patients with altered bowel functions.
The aim of this trial is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of 2.5 and 5 mcg tiotropium over a 24-week treatment period as compared to placebo and salmeterol (50 mcg twice daily). Tiotropium inhalation solution delivered by the Respimat® inhaler will be examined on top of maintenance treatment with inhaled corticosteroid controller medication in patients with moderate persistent asthma. Efficacy and safety will be assessed by measuring effects on lung function, effects on asthma exacerbations, effects on quality of life, effects on asthma control, effects on health care resource utilisation, and number of adverse events.

The aim of this international study is to describe the short- and long-term (i.e. up to 2 years following the index event) antithrombotic management patterns (AMPs) in patients hospitalized for acute coronary syndromes (ST segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI), Non-ST-Segment Elevation Acute Coronary Syndrome (NSTE-ACS)), and to document the impact of AMPs in clinical outcomes, economic variables and quality of life in a 'real-life' setting and to compare these between sites, countries and regions.
The purpose of this study is to determine whether BMS-790052 added to Peginterferon Alfa-2a and ribavirin can result in higher cure rates in patients who previously failed therapy and may have limited response to retreatment with Peginterferon Alfa-2a and ribavirin alone.
This is a Phase III randomized multicenter double-blind, placebo controlled trial evaluating the safety and efficacy of paclitaxel plus ramucirumab (IMC-1211B) drug product (DP) compared to paclitaxel plus placebo.
The aim of this trial is to offer continuation of BIBF 1120 treatment for patients with Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF) who have completed a prior clinical trial with that drug. The primary objective will be to establish the long term tolerability and safety profile of BIBF 1120 in Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF). As a secondary objective the effects of long term treatment with BIBF 1120 on survival as well as safety and efficacy parameters will be investigated in an open-label, not randomized, un-controlled design.
