Start date: July 8, 2015
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of the study is to compare effectiveness of paliperidone palmitate (PP: paliperidone palmitate once-monthly and 3-month injections) versus oral antipsychotic (OAP [that is oral paliperidone extended release {ER}, oral risperidone, or another OAP]) in delaying time to treatment failure. The study will also evaluate changes in cognition, functioning, brain intracortical myelin (ICM) volume following treatment with PP compared with OAP in participants with recent-onset schizophrenia or schizophreniform disorder.

NCT ID: NCT02426125 Completed - Clinical trials for Urothelial Carcinoma

RANGE
Start date: July 13, 2015
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The main purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety and efficacy of the study drug ramucirumab in combination with docetaxel in participants with urothelial cancer who failed prior platinum-based therapy.

NCT ID: NCT02425891 Completed - Clinical trials for Triple Negative Breast Cancer

A Study of Atezolizumab in Combination With Nab-Paclitaxel Compared With Placebo With Nab-Paclitaxel for Participants With Previously Untreated Metastatic Triple-Negative Breast Cancer (IMpassion130)

Start date: June 23, 2015
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

This multicenter, randomized, double-blind study evaluated the efficacy, safety, and pharmacokinetics of atezolizumab (MPDL3280A) administered with nab-paclitaxel compared with placebo in combination with nab-paclitaxel in participants with locally advanced or metastatic triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) who have not received prior systemic therapy for metastatic breast cancer (mBC). The safety of single-agent nab-paclitaxel has been determined in previous studies of participants with mBC and the safety data to date suggest that atezolizumab can be safely combined with standard chemotherapy agents.

This trial is conducted globally. The aim of this trial is to compare efficacy and safety of insulin degludec/liraglutide (IDegLira) versus basal-bolus therapy in combination with metformin in subjects with type 2 diabetes mellitus.

NCT ID: NCT02419612 Completed - Diabetes Clinical Trials

A 52-week International, Multicenter Trial With a Long -Term Extension to Evaluate Saxagliptin With Dapagliflozin in Combination With Metformin Compared to Glimepiride in Combination With Metformin in Type 2 Diabetes Who Have Inadequate Glycemic Control on Metformin Alone

Start date: August 14, 2015
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

This clincial trial is evaluating if the co-administration of saxagliptin and dapagliflozin, in addition to metformin, results in better glycemic control, as measured by HbA1c, over a treatment period of 52 weeks, compared to the addition of glimepiride to metformin in subjects with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus who have inadequate glycemic control on Metformin Alone. We will compare the change from baseline in HbA1c achieved with saxagliptin, in co-administration with dapagliflozin, added to current background therapy with metformin compared to glimepiride added to current background therapy with metformin ≥1500 mg at Week 52.

NCT ID: NCT02418039 Terminated - Liver Cirrhosis Clinical Trials

High Protein Diet Versus Normal Protein Diet in Treating Patients With Minimal Hepatic Encephalopathy

Start date: March 10, 2017
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

A total of 80 patients diagnosed with liver cirrhosis and minimal hepatic encephalopathy will be recruited. They will be randomized to receive high protein diet ( n = 40) and a normal protein diet ( n = 40 ) during one month. Randomization will be conducted by an external monitor and will keep the secret codes until the end of the study. All patients will be provided with structured menus and two snacks a day as an amaranth protein supplement. The supplement will content the same amount of fiber but the protein content will vary depending on the group to which the patient is assigned.
