There are about 7997 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Japan. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
The primary purpose of the study is to help answer the following research questions: How LY 2140023 can be tolerated by patients with Schizophrenia compared to standard of care treatment in 52 weeks time period. Whether LY 2140023 can help patients with Schizophrenia.
Sleep Apnea (SA) is a disorder that causes pauses in breathing during sleep that expose the heart to oxygen deprivation. It is common in patients with heart failure (HF) where it is associated with increased risk of hospitalizations and death. It is not known however whether treating SA reduces these risks. This study is looking at whether a respiratory device known as Adaptive Servo Ventilation (ASV) can reduce the rate of cardiovascular hospitalizations and death in subjects with HF and SA. Study subjects will randomly receive either their regular medications OR their regular medications plus ASV. They will be followed for approximately 5 years and information relevant to their health will be collected and compared.
This study is an open-label extension study in Alzheimer's patients who have completed participation in either solanezumab Clinical Trial H8A-MC-LZAM (NCT00905372) or H8A-MC-LZAN (NCT00904683).
This study is designed to compare 3 doses of LY2140023 for the treatment of schizophrenia as assessed at endpoint (up to 7 weeks) using the Clinical Utility Index (CUI), a measure of efficacy, safety, and tolerability.
Subjects undergoing an open surgical repair for their torn Rotator Cuff (RC) will be consented, screened, and enrolled in the study if they meet all eligibility criteria. At the time of open surgical repair, subjects who are randomized to receive the test article in addition to the Standard of Care (SOC) will be hospitalized and have a single dose of BMP-655/ACS surgically implanted at the site of tendon attachment to bone. Subjects who are randomized to receive SOC alone will receive no test article. Following surgery, subjects will be prescribed a rehabilitation plan. Subjects will then complete 9 follow-up visits beginning 24 hours after surgery and continuing through 52 weeks.
This is a Phase 1 trial evaluating the safety and efficacy of crizotinib in patients with tumors except non-small cell lung cancer that are positive for ALK.
This is a multinational, multi center extension study. This study will provide data on the long-term safety, tolerability, and efficacy of imatinib in the treatment of severe pulmonary arterial hypertension.
This study will assess the safety and efficacy of AIN457 as adjunctive therapy for the treatment of intermediate uveitis, posterior uveitis, or panuveitis requiring systemic immunosuppression.
Multicenter, double-blind, randomized, placebo-controlled, cross-over study to demonstrate that a single infusion of tezosentan has minimal effect on blood pressure in patients with pulmonary arterial hypertension, treated with endothelin receptor antagonists, phosphodiesterase-5 inhibitors or a combination of both.
The purpose of this study was to evaluate the safety and efficacy of ofatumumab and bendamustine combination therapy in patients with indolent B-cell NHL that did not respond to rituximab or a rituximab-containing regimen during or within 6 months of the last rituximab treatment.
