There are about 21062 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Italy. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
This open-label, multicenter, randomized Phase III study is designed to compare the efficacy and safety of a combined regimen of obinutuzumab and venetoclax versus obinutuzumab + chlorambucil in participants with chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) and coexisting medical conditions. The time on study treatment was approximately one year and the follow-up period will be up to 9 years.
The aim of the study is to analyze the protective impact on the cardiac damage of beta blockers and ACE inhibitors for breast cancer patients treated with anthracyclines-based chemotherapy with or without trastuzumab.
The present study aims at evaluating whether treatment with two different drugs, Ibrutinib and Rituximab is both efficient and safe for newly diagnosed patients with chronic lymphocytic leukemia.
The purpose of this study is to compare the objective response rate, progression free survival and the overall survival of Nivolumab combined with Ipilimumab to Sunitinib monotherapy in patients with previously untreated Renal Cell Cancer.
The objective of this extension study is to evaluate the safety and potential beneficial effects of the Algisyl-LVRâ„¢ device in patients with established heart failure secondary to a dilated cardiomyopathy. The results of this study will provide confirmatory evidence of the long-term safety and effectiveness of the Algisyl-LVR in patients with established heart failure.
This is a multicenter study that includes two phases: 1. A phase I study to define the maximum tolerated dose (MTD) of Romidepsin in addition to CHOEP-21 and to test the safety and feasibility of CHOEP-21 in combination with dose escalation of Romidepsin (8, 10, 12, 14 mg). The dose level defined as MTD of Romidepsin will be used for the subsequent phase II study. 2. A phase II study to evaluate the efficacy (response rate, progression free survival and overall survival) and safety of Ro-CHOEP-21 incorporated into a treatment strategy including SCT.
This protocol is a phase III multicenter, randomized, controlled study designed to assess the safety and the efficacy of standard schedule versus a new algoritm of dose reductions in elderly and unfit newly diagnosed Multiple Myeloma (MM) patients receiving lenalidomide plus steroids.
The purpose of this study is to characterize the safety and efficacy profile of ACP-196 (acalabrutinib) in subjects with relapsed or refractory Mantle Cell Lymphoma (MCL).
Post-market study to confirm the safety and efficacy of the Journey II BCS knee prosthesis.
The purpose of this study is to find out whether either trastuzumab or the combination of trastuzumab and pertuzumab with standard chemotherapy shows more activity against gastro-oesophageal adenocarcinoma than standard chemotherapy given before and after surgery and it can be safely administered.
