Early DVC Ligation and Urinary Continence Recovery After RARP

The aim of the study is to evaluate the impact of early deep venous complex ligation (eDVCL) in patients affected by clinically localized prostate cancer (PCa) undergoing robot-assisted radical prostatectomy with or without pelvic lymph node dissection. Overall, 312 patients will be randomized to the standard technique vs. eDVCL. The primary endpoint is represented by early urinary continence recovery. The secondary endpoints are perioperative outcomes, erectile function recovery and positive surgical margins.

Isatuximab in Combination With REGN2810 (Cemiplimab) in Patients With Advanced Malignancies

Primary Objectives: - To characterize the safety and tolerability of isatuximab in combination with REGN2810 in participants with metastatic, castration-resistant prostate cancer (mCRPC) who were naïve to anti-programmed cell death-1 (PD-1)/programmed cell death-ligand 1 (PD-L1)-containing therapy, or non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) who progressed on anti-PD-1/PD-L1-containing therapy, and to confirm the recommended Phase 2 dose (RP2D). - To assess the response rate of isatuximab in combination with REGN2810 in participants with either mCRPC who were anti-PD-1/PD-L1 therapy naive, or NSCLC who progressed on anti-PD-1/PD-L1 therapy, or of isatuximab as single agent in participants with mCRPC. Secondary Objectives: - To evaluate the safety of the combination of isatuximab with REGN2810 or isatuximab monotherapy. - To evaluate the immunogenicity of isatuximab and REGN2810. - To characterize the pharmacokinetic (PK) profile of isatuximab single agent or in combination with REGN2810, and to characterize the PK of REGN2810 in combination with isatuximab. - To assess overall efficacy of isatuximab in combination with REGN2810 or as a single agent.

Primary Graft Dysfunction (PGD) respresents the leading cause of mortality in early post-operative period of Lung Tranplantation (LTx). Protective ventilatory strategy could potentially reduce the risk of PGD in these patients. Neurally Adjusted Ventilatory Assist (NAVA) is an assisted ventilation mode that could allow to adopt this strategy. Aim of the study is to assess the feasibility of NAVA in the early post-LTx phase and to describe the breathing pattern and the physiological relationship between neural respiratory drive and different levels of ventilatory assist, in the absence of pulmonary vagal afferent feedback.

tDCS in Patients With Disorder of Consciousness Due to Severe Acquired Brain Injury

The present observational study is aimed at reporting the short-, mid- and long-term outcomes of patients with Disorder of Consciousness (DOC), in Vegetative State (VS) or Minimally Conscious State (MCS), due to a severe Acquired Brain Injury (sABI), after repeated treatments with anodal Transcranial Direct Current Stimulation (tDCS) on Left Dorsolateral Prefrontal Cortex (L-DLPFC), to stimulate recovery of consciousness. The results obtained will also be compared with those of a historical control cohort, before the introduction of tDCS, matched for demographic and clinical characteristics.

Anti Arrhythmic Therapies and Sudden Cardiac Deaths

Failing heart negative remodeling alterations might provide electrical heterogeneity and cardiac remodeling, thus potentially contributing to the occurrence of ventricular arrhythmia and subsequent sudden cardiac death (SCD). In this study we have prospectively investigated whether serum markers of heart failure (ultra sensitive Troponin , B type Natriuretic Peptide (BNP), C reactive protein (CRP), ST protein, and adiponectin could be used as predictors for the occurrence of malignant ventricular arrhythmias in patients who had received an Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillator (ICD) for primary prevention and treated by catheter ablation for ventricular arrhythmias.
