There are about 21062 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Italy. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
This is a prospective, multi-center, post-market data collection study intended to collect data on the short- and long-term safety and performance of the SCP Procedure.
The DynamX (Bioadaptor) study is a prospective, consecutive enrollment study designed to enroll up to 50 patients requiring treatment of a single, de novo lesion ≤ 24 mm in length located in a vessel ≥ 2.5 mm and ≤ 3.5 mm in diameter. All patients be followed clinically at 30 days, 6 and 9 months, and 1, 2 and 3 years. All patients will undergo imaging (angiography and IVUS) follow-up with approximately one-half of the patients returning for follow up at 9 months and approximately one-half returning for follow up at 12 months.
The study is a 2-arm, double blinded, multicenter, 2:1 randomized, placebo controlled clinical trial. Subjects will receive hydroxychloroquine or placebo and close monitoring for progression of T1D.
The objective of the study is to demonstrate the superiority of the mesoglycan (Prisma®), compared to placebo, in reducing the incidence of thromboembolic complications (relapse / extension of superficial venous thrombosis (SVT), deep venous thrombosis (DVT), pulmonary embolism (PE)) in patients who have completed the cycle of therapy of the acute phase after superficial vein thrombosis.
Objective: The study aimed to assess the effect of topical application of an amino acid + sodium hyaluronate acid gel after lower third molar extraction. Study design: 136 patients requiring lower third molar extraction were enrolled. An amino acid + sodium hyaluronate acid (HA) gel was applied to the sockets of the patients in the treatment group immediately following extraction; the sockets of the controls were simply flushed with a sterile saline solution. 7 and 14 days after surgery, patients' outcomes and postoperative complications were evaluated. Cumulative incidence of dehiscence and secondary outcome measures were analyzed using a chi-square test.
Tthe primary objective of this study is to compare blinded Independent Radiology Committee (IRC)-adjudicated progression free survival (PFS) of patients treated with CB-839 + cabozantinib (CB-Cabo) versus placebo + cabozantinib (Pbo-Cabo) for advanced or metastatic clear-cell RCC (ccRCC).
The purpose of this study is to determine the efficacy and safety of baricitinib in combination with topical corticosteroids in participants with moderate to severe atopic dermatitis who have experienced failure to cyclosporine or are intolerant to, or have contraindication to cyclosporine.
Impedance-based analysis could provide an adequate response to the need to identify a safe and reliable tool alternative to bioptic diagnosis. Patients who are candidates for prostate biopsy as suffering from urinary symptoms accompanied by clinical suspicions such as high total PSA value and / or presence of prostate nodule and / or evidence of obvious lesion to available imaging methods will be subjected to impedance measurement. Aim of this study is to be able to structure a bivariate analysis of the distribution of impedances detected in patients with neoplasia in order to detect test median reference values.
Hysteroscopic endometrial biopsy is usually performed through the classic spoon grasper. Recently, a new hysteroscopic grasper with knurled terminal end and cutting jaws was designed, in order to improve feasibility of the procedure, reduce its duration and the discomfort for the patients. This study aims to compare the outcomes of the three hysteroscopic graspers for endometrial biopsy in post-menopausal patients.
ELASTOVOD is a prospective multicenter study, involving several centers of Onco-haematology in Italy. Investigators perform hepatic elastographic measurements (with Transient Elastography, ARFI or 2D-SWE) on patients undergoing HSCT, at baseline before transplantation (T0) and at T1/T2/T3 after HSCT (+9/10, +15/17, +22/24). SOS/VOD diagnosis was performed according to clinical criteria.
