There are about 5618 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in India. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
The goal of this observational and cross-sectional study is to develop and validate a survey that can be used to identify anemia, and its severity, among pre-pregnant women allowing for the timely implementation of focused public health and personalized interventions. Participants will be asked 26 survey questions about menstrual history and provide a 5 ml venous blood sample to measure hemoglobin, ferritin, and transferrin saturation levels.
Bone and soft tissue sarcomas are rare tumors, accounting for approximately 1% of all adult malignancies. The majority of bone and soft tissue sarcomas occur in the extremities. After treatment of the primary tumor, 40 % to 60% of the patients will develop local or distant recurrent disease. The ultimate determinant of survival in patients with bone and soft tissue sarcomas is the development of distant metastasis. Modern multimodality therapy has improved patient survival; hence follow-up surveillance strategies are becoming increasingly important with significant clinical and fiscal implications. However, the ideal postoperative protocol vis a vis frequency and appropriate screening modalities for these uncommon neoplasms remains ill-defined. Although guidelines have been proposed for follow-up of patients , there is a paucity of data in medical literature on the effectiveness of these recommendations. A prospective randomized controlled trial to evaluate the effectiveness of follow up strategies in picking up disease recurrence and their role in influencing overall survival would go a long way in answering some of these questions.
The present study is a randomized, placebo-controlled, parallel-group, double-blind (double-dummy) clinical study. Not more than 210 individuals will be screened, and considering a screening failure rate of 18%, approximately 168 participants will be randomized in a ratio of 1:1:1 to receive E-PR-01 (LD: 200 mg/day), E-PR-01 (HD: 400 mg/day), or placebo (400 mg/day). After accounting for a dropout/withdrawal rate of 15%, each group will have at least 48 completed participants with equal numbers of participants having knee and lumbo-sacral as index joint. The intervention duration for all the study participants will be approximately 90 days.
A randomized, double blind, placebo controlled, parallel group study to evaluate the efficacy of UP165 on sleep quality and mood state in healthy adults
This investigation is aimed to assess the prevalence and severity of apical periodontitis (AP) in different stages of CKD patients and its impact on the systemic (nutritional and inflammatory) markers was compared to healthy individuals.
A multi-center randomized clinical trial is proposed to study the effectiveness of the advanced decision support tool Opt-IVF in reducing medication, testing, and improving outcomes.
The goal of this clinical study is to assess the relative bioavailability of Amlodipine for Oral Solution 5 mg of Brillian Pharma Inc. under fasting and fed conditions versus reference product Norvasc 5 mg tablets of Pfizer Labs under fasting in normal, healthy, adult, male, Primary Objective: 1. To compare the relative bioavailability. 2. To assess the food effect in Test product (T1) (Fast) vs Test product (T2) (Fed) Amlodipine Oral Solution 5 mg of Brillian Pharma Inc. A randomized, double blind, placebo controlled clinical trial to evaluate the efficacy and safety of MXP22 on liver health
The idea of treating different deformities or diseases in the maxillofacial region with Extracorporeal Shockwave Therapy (ESWT) has recently become popular. It has been widely used in medical practice for the management of urolithiasis, cholelithiasis and in haead and neck region for sialolithiasis. The present study 'Extracorporeal Shock Wave Therapy on Osteoblast-Like Cells In-vitro study' will be done to explore and evaluate the effect of shockwaves. Further, Osteoblast-like cells will be assessed for Cell - Cell interaction and Cell Viability. It will be assessed using a scratch assay, Mtt assay and ATP analysis.
This is a randomized, placebo-controlled, double-blind, two-arm, single-centre, proof-of-concept, clinical study to evaluate the safety and efficacy of Plant based Biotin in Healthy Human Subjects with thin, dry, and brittle hair. a sufficient number (maximum of 54 (27/arm)) of female/male adult subjects were recruited/enrolled to ensure a total of 50 subjects (25 subjects/arm) completed the study.
