Randomized, double-blind, parallel group, placebo-controlled, multicenter, efficacy and safety study in subjects with mild to moderate atopic dermatitis. Following the double blind period, subjects will be allowed to continue treatment with topical MRX-6 Cream 2% in an open-label extension. Demonstrate the efficacy of MRX-6 Cream 2% compared to Vehicle for the treatment of the signs and symptoms of atopic dermatitis and demonstrate the safety of MRX-6 Cream 2% for the treatment of the signs and symptoms of atopic dermatitis.

Approximately 30 subjects will participate into this 8-week study. The primary objective is to examine the dose effect of coated Nifedipine suppository on Anal fissure pain and healing.

The current treatment option for these subjects is an injection directly into the eye, while this CCR2/5 antagonist would be an oral drug which has the potential to be just as effective. This CCR2/5 antagonist also has a broader anti-inflammatory potential and might be able to provide an alternative mechanism to treat Diabetic Macular Edema.
