NCT ID: NCT02953002 Completed - Sepsis Clinical Trials

The Correlation Between The New Sepsis Scores - SOFA, Quick SOFA and Calibrated Automated Thrombogram Values

Start date: January 17, 2017
Phase:
Study type: Observational

In total 200 subjects with diagnosis of sepsis, are planned for inclusion in this trial. After signing an informed consent a blood sample will be obtained from each participant. The investigators will measure the thrombin generation in plasma assessed by the calibrated automated thrombogram (CAT). Sequential Organ Failure Assessment score SOFA will be calculated. The relation between SOFA score and thrombin measurements will be determined.

NCT ID: NCT02952586 Terminated - Clinical trials for Squamous Cell Carcinoma of the Head and Neck

Study To Compare Avelumab In Combination With Standard of Care Chemoradiotherapy (SoC CRT) Versus SoC CRT for Definitive Treatment In Patients With Locally Advanced Squamous Cell Carcinoma Of The Head And Neck (JAVELIN HEAD AND NECK 100)

Start date: November 28, 2016
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

This is a phase 3 randomized, placebo controlled study to evaluate the safety and anti-tumor activity of Avelumab in combination with standard of care chemoradiation (SoC CRT) versus SoC CRT alone in front-line treatment of patients with locally advanced head and neck cancer.

NCT ID: NCT02952534 Completed - Clinical trials for Metastatic Castration Resistant Prostate Cancer

A Study of Rucaparib in Patients With Metastatic Castration-resistant Prostate Cancer and Homologous Recombination Gene Deficiency

TRITON2
Start date: February 15, 2017
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to determine how patients with metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer, and evidence of a homologous recombination gene deficiency, respond to treatment with rucaparib.

NCT ID: NCT02952508 Recruiting - Multiple Myeloma Clinical Trials

Study of Iopofosine I 131 (CLR 131) in Select B-Cell Malignancies (CLOVER-1) and Pivotal Expansion in Waldenstrom Macroglobulinemia

CLOVER-WaM
Start date: July 26, 2017
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

Part A of this study evaluates iopofosine I 131 (CLR 131) in patients with select B-cell malignancies (multiple myeloma( MM), indolent chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL)/small lymphocytic lymphoma (SLL), lymphoplasmacytic lymphoma (LPL)/Waldenstrom Macroglobulinemia (WM), marginal zone lymphoma (MZL), mantle cell lymphoma (MCL), diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL), and central nervous system lymphoma (CNSL) who have been previously treated with standard therapy for their underlying malignancy. Part B (CLOVER-WaM) is a pivotal efficacy study evaluating IV administration of iopofosine I 131 in patients with WM that have received at least two prior lines of therapy.

NCT ID: NCT02951429 Completed - Clinical trials for Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis

Efficacy, Safety, and Tolerability Study of Pirfenidone in Combination With Sildenafil in Participants With Advanced Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF) and Intermediate or High Probability of Group 3 Pulmonary Hypertension

Start date: December 31, 2016
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This Phase IIb, randomized, placebo-controlled, multicenter, international study will evaluate the efficacy, safety, and tolerability of sildenafil or placebo added to pirfenidone (Esbriet) treatment in participants with advanced IPF and intermediate or high probability of Group 3 pulmonary hypertension (PH) who are on a stable dose of pirfenidone with demonstrated tolerability. Participants will be randomized to receive 1 year of treatment with either oral sildenafil or matching placebo while continuing to take pirfenidone.

NCT ID: NCT02950051 Completed - Clinical trials for Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia

Standard Chemoimmunotherapy (FCR/BR) Versus Rituximab + Venetoclax (RVe) Versus Obinutuzumab (GA101) + Venetoclax (GVe) Versus Obinutuzumab + Ibrutinib + Venetoclax (GIVe) in Fit Patients With Previously Untreated Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL) Without Del(17p) or TP53 Mutation

GAIA
Start date: December 13, 2016
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The aim of this study is to evaluate if standard chemoimmunotherapy (FCR, BR) in frontline treatment of physically fit CLL patients without del17p or TP 53 mutation can be replaced by combinations of targeted drugs (Venetoclax, Ibrutinib) with anti-CD20-antibodies (Rituximab, Obinutuzumab), which may induce extremely long lasting remissions.

NCT ID: NCT02947347 Active, not recruiting - Follicular Lymphoma Clinical Trials

Study of Ibrutinib and Rituximab in Treatment Naïve Follicular Lymphoma

Start date: January 2017
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to evaluate whether the addition of ibrutinib will result in prolongation of progression-free survival (PFS) when compared with rituximab alone in treatment naïve participants with follicular lymphoma.

NCT ID: NCT02945748 Completed - Clinical trials for Hemodynamic Instability

Uninvasive Cardiac Output Monitoring (USCOM) in Critically Ill Children: Validation and Prediction of Hemodynamic Instability

Start date: July 2016
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Hemodynamically unstable ventilated PICU & PCICU patients, which a decision for commencement in inotropic therapy or fluid bolus has been made, will be recruited. Hemodynamic measurements will be carried out before and after therapy have been made, including customary hemodynamic parameters, echocardiography and USCOM studies. All parameters will be analyzed for fluid responsiveness or inotropic therapy prediction. Trend in USCOM parameters will be compared to echocardiography CO parameters.

NCT ID: NCT02945735 Completed - Depressive Disorder Clinical Trials

Gaze Contingent Feedback in Major Depressive Disorder (MDD)

Start date: November 6, 2016

The purpose of this study is to determine whether giving gaze-contingent feedback is an effective attention modification procedure, helping in the treatment of Major Depressive Disorder (MDD)

NCT ID: NCT02945709 Completed - PTSD Clinical Trials

Attention Control Treatment for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder ׂ(PTSD)

Start date: October 2016
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to explore the efficacy of Attention Control Training for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). ACT was found to be effective in decreasing attention bias variability and PTSD symptoms in combat veterans (Badura-Brack, et al., 2015). It is now important to continue the examination of ACT's efficacy in additional populations of patients with PTSD. Such extension of treatment to other traumatic experiences raises the question of whether the threatening content of the training material could be personalized for each patient.
