There are about 9745 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Israel. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
The purpose of this study is to examine whether transperineal ultrasound as visual biofeedback can be used during labor as an effective tool for shortening the second stage of labor and reducing the need for instrumental delivery, in a prospective randomized design.
The purpose of this extension study was to establish efficacy and safety of ligelizumab. This was assessed in adult and adolescent chronic spontaneous urticaria (CSU) patients who had completed a preceding ligelizumab study and have relapsed, following treatment in these preceding studies, despite standard of care H1-antihistamine (H1-AH) treatment. This study also fulfilled the Novartis commitment to provide post-trial access to patients who had completed studies: CQGE031C2302 (NCT03580369), CQGE031C2303 (NCT03580356), CQGE031C2202 (NCT03437278) or CQGE031C1301 (NCT03907878).
Cancer survival rates have increased dramatically in recent years. However, many survivors report cognitive decline following treatment, which significantly impairs their quality of life. Online cognitive training programs have shown promise in improving cognitive functions in cancer survivors, but most studies report limited impact of training on everyday function. A complementary treatment approach is functional treatment delivered by occupational therapists, which directly targets daily function. Combining the two approaches has the potential to overcome the limitations of both approaches, enabling improved cognitive functions and transfer to daily function. Remotely-administrated interventions further make treatment accessible and cost-effective. The current study is aimed at testing the efficacy of a novel, combined, remotely-delivered treatment approach: Cognitive Retraining and Functional Treatment(CRAFT), using a Randomized Controlled Trial (RCT) design. 90 cancer survivors will be randomly assigned to receive 15 weeks of either the combined treatment, computerized training only, or treatment-as-usual. Outcomes will be assessed at completion, and following 3 months of no contact, to test immediate and enduring effects of treatment. Baseline predictors for treatment response will be further assessed. Positive results in the proposed study could potentially change the therapeutic landscape for rehabilitation of cancer-related cognitive decline, which currently impair the lives of millions worldwide.
This Phase 3 study is designed to compare the efficacy and safety of mirvetuximab soravtansine vs. investigator's choice chemotherapy in patients with platinum-resistant high-grade epithelial ovarian cancer, primary peritoneal, or fallopian tube cancer, whose tumors express a high-level of FRα. Patients will be, in the opinion of the Investigator, appropriate for single-agent therapy for their next line of therapy. Folate receptor alpha (FRα) positivity will be defined by the Ventana FOLR1 (FOLR1-2.1) CDx assay.
The purpose of the study is to see if treatment with nivolumab plus bempegaldesleukin or nivolumab alone, before and after surgery to remove the bladder, is more effective than surgery alone in participants with high-risk urothelial cancer, including muscle-invasive bladder cancer who are not able to receive cisplatin chemotherapy.
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the Extended Wear (EW) infusion set seven day functioning in patients with Type 1 diabetes compared to the Quick-set infusion set. The study will be carried out in adults with type 1 diabetes.
The purpose of this study is to examine the immediate effect of aerobic exercise effort on clinical and experimental pain, knee active range of motion and function in people after total knee replacement.
The main purpose of this study is to investigate whether dupilumab is effective and safe for the treatment of bullous pemphigoid. Dupilumab is a type of drug called a "monoclonal antibody". An antibody is a special kind of protein that the immune (defense) system normally makes to fight bacteria and viruses. Bullous pemphigoid is an autoimmune subepidermal blistering disease, predominately affecting the elderly (typical onset after age 60). The study is looking at several other research questions, including: - Side effects that may be experienced by people taking dupilumab - How dupilumab works in the body and affects the body - How dupilumab affects quality of life - How much dupilumab is present in the blood - To see if dupilumab works to wean the patient off oral corticosteroids
This study investigates the effect of epidural fentanyl on gastric emptying in non-fasted laboring women. Half the women will be randomized to receive low-dose epidural fentanyl (<100 mcg), and half will be randomized to receive high-dose epidural fentanyl (≥100 mcg). Gastric content will be measured by ultrasonography two hours after epidural placement and compared between the groups.
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the clinical efficacy, safety and pharmacokinetics (PK) of 2 fixed doses of tavapadon and placebo in participants with early PD.
