There are about 9745 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Israel. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
The purpose of this study is to evaluate sacituzumab tirumotecan versus chemotherapy (docetaxel or pemetrexed) for the treatment of previously-treated non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) with exon 19del or exon 21 L858R EGFR mutations (hereafter referred to as EGFR mutations or EGFR-mutated) or any of the follow genomic alterations: ALK gene rearrangements, ROS1 rearrangements, BRAF V600E mutations, NTRK gene fusions, MET exon 14 skipping mutations, RET rearrangements, or less common EGFR point mutations of exon 20 S768I, exon 21 L861Q, or exon 18 G719X mutations. The primary hypotheses are that sacituzumab tirumotecan is: (1) superior to chemotherapy with respect to progression-free survival (PFS) per RECIST 1.1 as assessed by BICR in NSCLC with EGFR mutations; and (2) superior to chemotherapy with respect to overall survival (OS) in NSCLC with EGFR mutations.
The investigators propose a proof of concept RCT (randomized clinical trial), testing the efficacy of intranasal insulin (INI) with semaglutide, a combination therapy with strong biological plausibility to benefit impaired cognition through vascular mechanisms, in older adults with MetS (metabolic syndrome) and MCI (Mild Cognitive Impairment), who are enriched for cerebrovascular disease and at high dementia risk. The study will focus on cognitive and biological outcomes, allowing identification of relevant mechanisms.
The goal of this clinical trial is investigate the efficacy of a neuro/vascular-protective treatment with the drug Cerebrolysin in patients with acute ischemic stroke. starting immediately after completion of a EVT therapy. The main question the study aims to answer is: If a 10 days treatment with the neuro/vascularprotective drug Cerebrolysin (30 ml/day as intravenous infusion) is able to increase the overall outcome of EVT therapy? Participants will receive intravenous treatment with Cerebrolysin (30 ml/day) starting immediately after thrombolytic therapy and being continued for 10 consecutive days as one single daily infusion. The modified Rankin Scale (mRS) 90 days after onset of symptoms will be investigated, but also the improvement in other ratings as well as the time course of the improvement. In addition to the clinical outcome measures the study will assess neuroimaging perfusion CT-Perfusion parameters to evaluate possible direct improvement in microcirculation that might be an additional mechanism of action of cerebrolysin. CT-Perfusion being done immediately after EVT will provide ability to stratify the data according to non-favorable CT-Perfusion parameters after EVT versus favoravle.
This is a single-center, open-label clinical study. Up to 11 subjects will be enrolled to use the Neuro-trigger device for blinking stimulation for a duration of 14 days.
Acute myeloid leukemia (AML) is the second most common type of leukemia diagnosed in adults and children, but most cases occur in adults. This study is to evaluate how safe ABBV-787 is and how it moves within the body in adult participants with relapsed/refractory (R/R) acute myeloid leukemia (AML). Adverse events and maximum tolerated dose (MTD) of ABBV-787 will be assessed. ABBV-787 is an investigational drug being developed for the treatment of AML. Participants will receive ABBV-787 in escalating doses until the maximum tolerated dose (MTD) is determined. Approximately 60 adult participants with a diagnosis of AML will be enrolled worldwide. Participants will receive intravenous (IV) infusions of ABBV-787 during the approximately 3 year duration a participant is followed. There may be higher treatment burden for participants in this trial compared to their standard of care. Participants will attend regular visits during the study at a hospital or clinic. The effect of the treatment will be checked by medical assessments, blood tests and checking for side effects.
Patients arriving to rehabilitation up to 2 months following SCI will be given (study group) or not (control group) Lyrica (75X2). They will be followed for central pain development.
This is a Phase III, randomized, open-label multicenter study that will evaluate the efficacy and safety of giredestrant compared with fulvestrant, both in combination with the investigator's choice of a CDK4/6 inhibitor (palbociclib, ribociclib or abemaciclib), in participants with estrogen receptor-positive (ER+), human epidermal growth factor receptor 2-negative (HER2-) advanced breast cancer who have developed resistance to adjuvant endocrine therapy.
The study will look at how well CagriSema helps people lower their blood sugar and body weight. CagriSema is a new weekly medicine that combines two medicines called semaglutide and cagrilintide. CagriSema will be compared to the two medicines semaglutide and cagrilintide, when they are taken alone. CagriSema will also be compared to a "dummy" medicine without any active ingredient. The study will be done in participants who have type 2 diabetes. Participants will take the study medicine together with the current diabetes medicine (metformin with or without an SGLT2 inhibitor).
Crohn's disease (CD) is a long-lasting disease that causes severe inflammation (redness, swelling), in the digestive tract, most often affecting the bowels. It can cause many different symptoms including abdominal pain, diarrhea, tiredness, and weight loss. This study will assess how safe and effective risankizumab subcutaneous (SC) induction treatment is in treating moderately to severely active CD in adult participants. Risankizumab is an approved drug for adults with CD. This study comprises of a Period A and a Period B. In Period A, participants are placed in 1 of 2 groups to receive either risankizumab SC or Placebo. In Period B, based on response, participants will receive risankizumab SC Dose B or Placebo. Participants who do not have improvement in CD symptoms at Week 12 will receive risankizumab SC Dose C and participants with worsening CD symptoms in period B will receive risankizumab SC. Approximately 276 adult participants with a diagnosis of moderately to severely active CD will be enrolled in approximately 250 sites globally. Participants will receive SC induction treatment of risankizumab or matching placebo for up to 24 weeks in Period A and B. The duration of the study will be approximately 49 weeks.
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the tolerability and safety of Xevinapant when added to weekly cisplatin-based concurrent chemoradiotherapy (CRT) in the treatment of participants with unresectable locally advanced squamous cell carcinoma of the head and neck, suitable for definitive chemoradiotherapy.
