There are about 9745 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Israel. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
The reason for this study is to see if the study drug baricitinib is safe and effective in the treatment of JIA in participants ages 1 to 17. This study is for participants that have been enrolled in studies I4V-MC-JAHV (NCT03773978) or I4V-MC-JAHU.
Brief Summary: A randomized double-blinded, sham-controlled, crossover study Condition or Disease: impaired autonomic balance measured by heart rate variability
The Aim of this study randomized prospective clinical trial is to examine and compare periimplant tissue changes between heavy smokers and non-smokers at 12 months post loading using the alpha Bio Neo standard diameter implants with conical abutment.
Placenta will be collected and from these, mitochondrial will be harvested. Mitochondria will be used in mitochondrial augmentation therapy.
Central neuropathic pain (CNP) is defined as chronic pain due to injury or disease in the central nervous system. This pain is most common among people with a spinal cord injuries (SCI), with a prevalence of about 50%. The central pain usually develops within a few months of spinal cord injury - and this period is significance in terms of this research work. This pain is one of the most complex and challenging pain syndromes. One of the reasons for this stems from its adherence to most treatments. Another reason is that there is partial information about the mechanism responsible for its development. Animal studies suggest that it is possible to prevent and / or reduce its development or reduce its strength by preventive treatment (given immediately after the injury). Currently, the treatments found to prevent or reduce central pain in animals are anti Inflammation and neuronal excitability suppressors such as interleukin 10. The purpose of this study,is to explore whether pre-treatment with pregabalin prior to the development of the central pain will prevent the incidence of pain or reduce its intensity by improving pain regulation and reducing hypersensitivity. The goal of the pharmacotherapy is to reduce the hypersensitivity- lyrica is used to reduce chronic neuropathic pain by reducing the degree of hypersensitivity in the pain system. the objectives of this study are to examine whether early treatment of central pain can prevent or reduce the incidence of pain by improving pain regulation and reducing hypersensitivity. That is, whether there will be a difference between those who take Lyrica-Pregabalin (a drug that reduces hypersensitivity of pain) compared to placebo. Methods: A randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study in which people with a fresh SCI will receive lyrica or placebo as soon as possible from their arrival at the rehabilitation hospital for 2-3 months during which pain system characteristics will be measured and monitored for central pain development.
This study will evaluate the efficacy and safety of olaparib (MK-7339) monotherapy in participants with multiple types of advanced cancer (unresectable and/or metastatic) that: 1) have progressed or been intolerant to standard of care therapy; and 2) are positive for homologous recombination repair mutation (HRRm) or homologous recombination deficiency (HRD).
Design for wellness (DWELL) is an online Facebook intervention developed to effectively cause participants to design their home environments for wellness. Also, to improve health behaviors (specifically: healthy nutrition, physical activity, smoke free home and hygiene); to improve awareness of the importance of the environment in healthy behaviors; and to improve overall wellness. The research will follow qualitative methods in early stages for a deep understanding of participants' needs and inputs, complimented by a rigorous, quantitative approach using randomized controlled trail (RCT) for program evaluation. Participants are Israeli mothers to children up to 18 years old with Facebook profile, who are often in Israel responsible for household management and raising the family. The program will provide the participants with an accessible and convenient online setting for active and group oriented collaborative learning, in informal personalized environment. Motivating the participants to enhance their engagement in DWELL online community is expected to encourage the participants to design their home environment for wellness and improve their health behaviors and overall wellness.
This is a multi-center, observational, non-interventional, prospective, Single-arm, open study for database establishment for R&D purposes. R&D data will be analyzed retrospectively in order to validate algorithm efficacy. The study will be conducted in the following settings: outpatinets clinics
This is a multi-center observational non-interventional prospective study. A Single-arm, open, database establishment for R&D purposes when R&D data will be analyzed retrospectively for efficacy at the end of the study. The study will be conducted in the following settings: Hospital and at home.
In this study we aim to evaluate hemodynamic effects of IVF treatment, with the use of the non invasive NICaS bioimpendence monitor. Our study's primary end point is to evaluate the hemodynamic profile with the use of NICaS whole body impedance cardiography that occur throughout the IVF cycle in patients undergoing controlled ovarian stimulation during IVF treatment. Secondary endpoints include: Women will be asked to grade their pain score and level of anxiety by the use of the visual analogue score elicited throughout the study observation points, in order to examine whether pain scores and anxiety levels correlate with the hemodynamic changes throughout an IVF treatment cycle.
