Transforaminal Percutaneous Endoscopic Lumbar Discectomy (TPELD) is a surgical technique for managing lumbar disc herniation. The procedure demands a steep learning curve with regards to clinical improvement and technical challenges for disc evacuation. This study was to evaluate learning curve, outcome parameters, and MRI assessment for successful procedure in single - center early experience of Transforaminal Percutaneous Endoscopic Lumbar Discectomy (TPELD). This study was a retrospective cohort study, involving patients who underwent TPELD in our institution hospital by a single surgeon.

Both of the diseases can lead to dependency, decrease quality of life, and morbidity. Besides nutrition, physical activity, especially resistance training is proven to be beneficial in improving sarcopenia and frailty condition. Currently in Cipto Mangunkusumo National Hospital (RSCM), there is no comprehensive frailty prevention clinic in the geriatric inpatient clinics. This research can be the base of frailty and sarcopenia treatment in RSCM.

Endotracheal intubation and mask ventilation procedural skills are basic skills which have to be learnt by medical student and have to be practiced directly. However, during COVID-19 pandemic, offline training was difficult to be conducted and new specific learning method has not established yet. The study aims to assess the effectiveness of modified Peyton's four-step approach, which can be implemented through online training, compared to the classic Peyton's four-step approach in learning endotracheal intubation and mask ventilation procedural skills.

The WhatsApp application ranks 2 among the most popular social media in Indonesia. Blended education innovations are offered online in the form of digital booklets, videos, online discussions, and online consultations carried out via WhatsApp and offline visits according to health protocols. This blended education is expected to facilitate the work of cadres in providing Infant and young child feeding (IYCF) education, to improve IYCF practices for infant nutritional status.

CYP2D6 Genotypes and Breast Cancer Clinical Outcomes in the Indonesian Population

The utilization of tamoxifen is considerably high in Indonesia, with about 170,000 tamoxifen prescriptions filed in 2015. It is metabolized by the enzyme CYP2D6, resulting in its active metabolite, endoxifen, which has been proven to be effective in the prevention and treatment of breast cancer. Studies showed the CYP2D6 gene has more than 100 variants; some of which are linked with reduced drug activity, while others do not have any pathological implications. The metabolizer profile of these variants is generally grouped into Ultra-rapid, Normal, Intermediate, and Poor Metabolizers (UM, NM, IM, and PM, respectively). In our previous study (NCT04312347), the investigators recruited 150 breast cancer patients who were taking adjusted dose of tamoxifen daily based on their CYP2D6 phenotype. Although the investigators have measured the endoxifen level of the patients with adjusted treatment, the clinical outcomes of the study are not yet conclusive.

This clinical study will compare the effectivity and safety of combination cream of Salicylic Acid, Aqua Posae Filiformis, Niacinamide, Lipohydroxy Acid, Procerad, and Zinc PCA as adjuvant therapy for acne vulgaris patients. These combination cream will be tested by mild to moderate acne vulgaris patients. Participants will be female patients aged 15-50 years old and divided into three groups. The control group (Group 1) will use Adapalene 0.1% cream only every night. Group 2 will use Adapalene 0.1% cream intermittently every two nights and the combination cream every morning. Group 3 will use Adapalene 0.1% cream every night and the combination cream every morning.
