NCT ID: NCT02792699 Completed - Clinical trials for Arthritis, Rheumatoid

Study to Assess if ABP 798 is Safe & Effective in Treating Moderate to Severe Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) Compared to Rituximab

Start date: May 17, 2016
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

This trial is designed to determine what effects the human body has on the investigational medicine, ABP 798, and what effects the body has on the investigational medicine after you have been given it, and if this is comparable to what is seen for the licensed medicine, rituximab, in patients with moderate or severe RA. This study will also assess if the investigational medicine is safe and effective in treating moderate or severe RA compared to the licensed medicine.

The study is designed to compare the effects of BI 425809 compared to placebo in patients with cognitive impairment due to Alzheimer's Disease.

NCT ID: NCT02788474 Completed - Clinical trials for Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis

Effect of Nintedanib on Biomarkers of Extracellular Matrix Turnover in Patients With Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis and Limited Forced Vital Capacity Impairment

Start date: June 9, 2016
Phase: Phase 4
Study type: Interventional

Identifying biomarkers to predict the clinical course and benefits of therapy early in the course of the disease remains one of the most urgent and relevant challenges to improve overall patient management, to prevent treatment delay or overtreatment. This study is conducted to examine the effect of nintedanib treatment on change in biomarkers indicative of extracellular matrix turnover which have been shown recently to correlate with disease progression. This study further aims to confirm the association of biomarker course during the first three months of treatment and disease progression.

NCT ID: NCT02787291 Completed - Clinical trials for Implantable Defibrillator User

A Clinical Evaluation of the Durata or Optisure High Voltage Leads and Ellipse VR ICD Undergoing MRI, an IDE Study

Start date: May 2016
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

To demonstrate safety and efficacy of the Durata or Optisure high voltage lead and Ellipse VR ICD in an MRI environment.

NCT ID: NCT02786576 Completed - Clinical trials for Hidradenitis Suppurativa

Effectiveness of Adalimumab in Moderate to Severe HidrAdenitis SuppuRativa Patients - a Multi cOuNtry studY in Real Life Setting

HARMONY
Start date: July 5, 2016
Phase:
Study type: Observational

This study will assess the effects of adalimumab treatment in moderate to severe Hidradenitis Suppurativa (HS) patients in the real world setting. The objectives of this study are to estimate the effectiveness of adalimumab treatment on disease severity, to estimate the impact of adalimumab treatment on patients' quality of life, psychological effect, work productivity and healthcare resource utilization and to describe treatment practices over the study period.

IGNITE4
Start date: October 13, 2016
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

This is a Phase 3, randomized, double-blind, double-dummy, multicenter, prospective study to assess the efficacy, safety, and pharmacokinetics (PK) of eravacycline compared with meropenem in the treatment of complicated intra-abdominal infections (cIAIs).

NCT ID: NCT02782858 Completed - Clinical trials for Multiple Sclerosis, Relapsing-Remitting

Clinical Trial Assessing the HERV-W Env Antagonist GNbAC1 for Efficacy in MS

CHANGE-MS
Start date: April 2016
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

The humanised IgG4 monoclonal antibody GNbAC1 targets the envelope protein (Env) of the human endogenous multiple sclerosis-associated retrovirus (HERV-W MSRV), which may play a critical role in multiple sclerosis (MS). This study evaluates the effect on MRI lesions parameters, the safety and pharmacokinetics of GNbAC1 in patients with relapsing remitting multiple sclerosis.
