NCT ID: NCT02807857 Completed - Clinical trials for Chronic Heart Failure (CHF)

A Prospective Evaluation of Natriuretic Peptide Based Referral of CHF Patients in Primary Care

PREFER
Start date: July 7, 2016
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This low interventional study, whose unique intervention was to measure the blood level of a biomarker called NT-proBNP in chronic heart failure patients daily followed-up by Primary Care Physicians (PCPs) in Europe, assessed if the cardiologist referral guided by NT-proBNP measurement in patients who were currently judged by PCPs as being stable, would lead to optimization of HF treatment, defined in adherence to treatment recommendations of the current European Society of Cardiology guidelines for the treatment of heart failure.

NCT ID: NCT02806986 Completed - Clinical trials for Primary Immunodeficiency

Efficacy, Pharmacokinetics, Safety, and Tolerability of IGSC 20% in Subjects With Primary Immunodeficiency

Start date: June 2016
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

Approximately 60 subjects will be enrolled in order to have approximately 20 adult subjects and 20 pediatric subjects treated with subcutaneously administered Immune Globulin Subcutaneous (Human), 20% Caprylate/Chromatography Purified (IGSC 20%) who complete the entire study. This study will include 3 study stages: Screening/Previous Regimen Phase, IGSC 20% Treatment Stage 1 (13 IGSC 20% weekly doses), and IGSC 20% Treatment Stage 2 (39 IGSC 20% weekly doses). A total of 52 doses of IGSC 20% will be administered with a final follow-up visit 1 week after the last dose at Week 53. Subjects/caregivers will be trained on self-administration of IGSC 20% by the clinical site personnel.

NCT ID: NCT02805439 Completed - Clinical trials for Major Depressive Disorder

Efficacy and Safety of S 47445 Versus Placebo as Adjunctive Treatment in Depressed Patients Not Fully Recovered From Depressive Symptoms With a Current Antidepressant Treatment

Start date: March 2016
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to assess the efficacy and safety of S47445 versus placebo as adjunctive treatment of Major Depressive Disorder in patients with an inadequate response to antidepressant therapy.

NCT ID: NCT02804763 Completed - Clinical trials for Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE)

A Phase 2 Efficacy and Safety Study of Dapirolizumab Pegol (DZP) in Systemic Lupus Erythematosus

Start date: June 2, 2016
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

The purpose is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of three different doses of Dapirolizumab Pegol (DZP) versus placebo in adult subjects with moderately to severely active systemic Lupus Erythematosus.

NCT ID: NCT02804750 Completed - Cushing's Syndrome Clinical Trials

Study to Evaluate CORT125134 in Participants With Cushing's Syndrome

Start date: June 2016
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

Cushing's syndrome is a relatively rare disorder caused by prolonged exposure to high levels of the glucocorticoid hormone cortisol. Cushing's syndrome may result from elevated endogenous or exogenous sources of cortisol. Endogenous Cushing's syndrome resulting from cortisol overproduction by the adrenal glands is the subject of this protocol. Patients with exogenous Cushing's syndrome, which develops as a side effect of chronic administration of high doses of glucocorticoids, were not eligible for enrollment in this study. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the safety and efficacy of CORT125134 for treatment of endogenous Cushing's syndrome. The multicenter study was conducted in the United States and in Europe.

NCT ID: NCT02804555 Completed - Clinical trials for Obstetrical Complication of Anesthesia

Effects of Intraoperative Oxygen Therapy on Oxygenation of Newborns Born Via Elective Cesarian Section

Start date: June 2013
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

In this study the investigators examine the effects of intraoperative oxygen administration to the mother on certain enzyme functions of the newborn. With this object blood samples are taken from the newborn's umbilical chord - which is otherwise a routine practice at the investigators clinic - and the mother's radial artery in parallel with umbilical clamping and cutting for blood gas and reactive oxygen species analyses. Samples are analyzed locally in a properly equipped laboratory.

NCT ID: NCT02799381 Completed - Clinical trials for Parkinson's Disease (PD)

A Study Comparing Efficacy of Levodopa-Carbidopa Intestinal Gel/Carbidopa-Levodopa Enteral Suspension and Optimized Medical Treatment on Dyskinesia in Subjects With Advanced Parkinson's Disease (DYSCOVER)

DYSCOVER
Start date: February 9, 2017
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The primary objective of this study was to examine the effect of levodopa-carbidopa intestinal gel (LCIG) compared with optimized medical treatment (OMT) on dyskinesia in participants with advanced Parkinson's disease (PD).

NCT ID: NCT02798471 Completed - Pulmonary Embolism Clinical Trials

Hokusai Study in Pediatric Patients With Confirmed Venous Thromboembolism (VTE)

Start date: March 27, 2017
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

This is an event driven Phase 3, prospective, randomized, open-label, blinded endpoint evaluation (PROBE) parallel group study in subjects with confirmed VTE. This study is designed to evaluate the pharmacokinetics (PK) and pharmacodynamics (PD) of edoxaban and to compare the efficacy and safety of edoxaban against standard of care in pediatric subjects with confirmed VTE.

NCT ID: NCT02795676 Completed - Fabry Disease Clinical Trials

Study of the Safety and Efficacy of PRX-102 Compared to Agalsidase Beta on Renal Function

BALANCE
Start date: June 2016
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

This was a randomized, double-blind, active control study of the enzyme replacement therapy (ERT) drug PRX-102 (pegunigalsidase alfa) in Fabry disease patients with impaired renal function. Patients who had been treated for approximately 1 year with agalsidase beta and who had been on a stable dose of that product for at least 6 months were randomized in a 2:1 ratio to either switch to PRX-102 or to continue treatment with agalsidase beta. Both treatments were delivered by intravenous infusions every two weeks, at a dosage of 1 mg/kg.
