There are about 5241 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Hungary. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
The purpose of this study is to demonstrate the efficacy, safety, and tolerability of fulranumab as adjunctive therapy compared with placebo in participants with chronic moderate to severe pain and functional impairment from knee or hip osteoarthritis that is not adequately controlled by current pain therapy.
Primary Objective: To demonstrate that sarilumab monotherapy was superior to adalimumab monotherapy with respect to signs and symptoms as assessed by disease activity score 28 (DAS28)-erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR) in participants with active rheumatoid arthritis (RA) who were either intolerant of, or considered inappropriate candidates for continued treatment with methotrexate (MTX), or after at least 12 weeks of continued treatment with MTX, were determined to be inadequate responders. Secondary Objectives: To demonstrate that sarilumab monotherapy was superior to adalimumab monotherapy in participants with active RA who were either intolerant of, or considered inappropriate candidates for continued treatment with MTX, or after at least 12 weeks of continued treatment with MTX, were determined to be inadequate responders, with respect to: - Reduction of signs and symptoms of RA. - Improvement in quality of life assessed by participant reported outcome questionnaires. Assessment of the safety and tolerability of sarilumab monotherapy (including immunogenicity) throughout the study.
The purpose of this study is to investigate the efficacy and safety of two dose levels of certolizumab pegol in adults with moderate to severe chronic plaque psoriasis when administered every 2 weeks.
The purpose of this study was to evaluate the efficacy, safety, pharmacokinetics (PK), and immunogenicity of suptavumab (REGN2222) in infants born no more than 35 weeks, 6 days gestational age who are no more than 6 months of age at the time of enrollment in their respective geographic location. In order to optimize the potential benefit in this vulnerable population, we conducted this study during the RSV season using dosing regimens that are expected to be effective.
Cardiac resynchronization therapy (CRT) has been shown to reduce heart failure (HF), hospitalizations and death in patients with left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) <35% and wide QRS. CRT provides electromechanical resynchronization and improves LV systolic function. The induced LV reverse remodeling or near normalization in LVEF to ≥45% is associated with a significant reduction in the risk of subsequent life-threatening ventricular tachyarrhythmias (VTA). And at the time of replacement, the need for defibrillator back-up after an event-free first CRT-D service-life for patients with improved LVEF is a controversy question. 80% of Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillator (ICD) patients implanted for primary prevention do not experience VTA during the life-time of their first device. So, regarding patients implanted with a CRT-D for primary prevention at the time of first implantation, the question is will they experience VTA after their device replacement by another CRT-D.
The purpose of this trial is to confirm the safety and clinical benefit of benralizumab administration in asthma patients with mild to moderate persistent asthma in order to gain an understanding of the benefit/risk of benralizumab across the spectrum of asthma disease.
Primary Objective: To demonstrate the non-inferiority of H0E901-U300 to Lantus, in change of glycated hemoglobin A1c (HbA1c). Secondary Objectives: To demonstrate the superiority of H0E901-U300 in comparison with Lantus in: - Percentage of participants with at least one severe and/or confirmed (by plasma glucose ≤70mg/dL [3.9mmol/L]) hypoglycemia event from 22:00 to 08:59 next morning - Percentage of participants with at least one nocturnal (from 00:00-05:59) severe and/or confirmed (≤70mg/dL [3.9mmol/L]) hypoglycemia event - Percentage of participants with at least one severe and/or confirmed (by plasma glucose ≤70mg/dL [3.9mmol/L]) hypoglycemia event occurring at any time of day - HbA1c change
The purpose of this study is to look at the long term safety profile of Orfadin treatment in patients suffering from hereditary tyrosinemia type 1 (HT-1). Patients included in the study will use Orfadin according to normal clinical practice.
The purpose of this study is to determine the efficacy and safety of investigational medical products (MEDI4736 monotherapy, tremelimumab monotherapy, and MEDI4736 + tremelimumab combination therapy) in the treatment of patients with recurrent or metastatic carcinoma of the head and neck who have progressed during or after treatment with a platinum containing regimen for recurrent/metastatic disease.
The aim of this study is to assess the long-term safety of C1-esterase inhibitor (C1-INH) in preventing hereditary angioedema (HAE) attacks when it is administered under the skin of subjects with HAE. The safety of participating subjects will be assessed for up to 54 weeks. The long-term efficacy of C1-INH will also be assessed. Each eligible subject will enter the treatment phase, wherein subjects will be randomized to treatment with either low- or medium-volume C1-INH. Subjects who have an insufficient treatment response during the study will be given an opportunity to undergo a dose increase. The study aims to enroll eligible subjects who completed study CSL830_3001 (NCT01912456). Subjects who did not participate in study CSL830_3001 may also participate, if eligible and if space permits. Subjects from the United States (US) who complete Treatment Period 2 will be allowed to participate in an Extension Period. During the Extension Period participating US subjects will continue to receive treatment with open-label CSL830 for up to an additional 88 weeks.
