There are about 25435 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in United Kingdom. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
This study will test a drug called enfortumab vedotin in participants with a type of bladder cancer called non-muscle invasive bladder cancer (NMIBC). This study will also evaluate what the side effects are and if the drug works to treat NMIBC. A side effect is anything a drug does to your body besides treating your disease. In this study enfortumab vedotin will be put into the bladder using a catheter. A catheter is a thin tube that can be put into your bladder.
To gain healthcare workers' perception of the current observations practices used in patient care and explore the benefits of using technology to enhance observations in inpatient mental health setting in the United Kingdom.
The purpose of this study is to evaluate whether zirconium Zr 89 crefmirlimab berdoxam (other names 89Zr-crefmirlimab berdoxam, 89Zr-Df-crefmirlimab, 89Zr-Df-IAB22M2C) PET/CT can predict the response of advanced or metastatic melanoma, Merkel cell carcinoma, renal cell carcinoma, or non-small cell lung cancer tumors to immuno-oncology therapy.
This is a pilot study to investigate serum prednisolone profiles in: - Patients on high doses of prednisolone for any inflammatory disorder, both in the acute and chronic setting. - Patients stepping up from or down to prednisolone therapy in association with a course of high dose methyl-prednisolone or dexamethasone. The study will comprise 3 groups, including those started on high doses of prednisolone acutely in an inpatient or outpatient setting, participants on chronically high doses, and those receiving a several week course of high dose methylprednisolone or dexamethasone. The study aims to measure prednisolone levels at a number of time points to investigate serum profile differences in those receiving prednisolone acutely compared with longer term steroid use. Further samples will be taken to characterise additional metabolic changes.
The aims of this study are to evaluate the comfort, and ease of application and removal, of GraduSOX™ compression stockings compared to standard compression stockings of the same compression class.
A Phase 2 study to evaluate the efficacy of nanatinostat in combination with valganciclovir in patients with relapsed/refractory EBV-positive lymphomas
The primary objective is to evaluate the effect of Gradusox™ compression hosiery on the local tissue oxygenation and compare this effect against that achieved by standard compression hosiery.
This is the pilot phase of a randomised controlled trial. The purpose of the pilot study is to assess the ability to recruit, randomise, adherence to the study protocol and plan for a full study. The purpose of the full study will be to determine if a policy of embryo selection and transfer based on morphological evaluation and preimplantation genetic testing for aneuploidy (PGT-A) is a more clinically effective, safer, cost-effective and acceptable way to provide in vitro fertilisation (IVF) treatment in women of advanced reproductive age compared to the routine practice of embryo selection and transfer based on morphological evaluation alone.
This is a double-blind randomised controlled trial (RCT) which compares the effectiveness of three surgical techniques for alleviating residual limb pain (RLP), neuroma pain and phantom limb pain (PLP). The three surgical treatments are Targeted Muscles Reinnervation (TMR), Regenerative Peripheral Nerve Interface (RPNI), and an active control (neuroma excision and muscle burying). Patients will be follow-up for 4 years.
The CATALINA study is a prospective cohort study embedded within CICERO (Collaboration In COPD ExaceRbatiOns, a European Respiratory Society supported Clinical Research Collaboration), designed to collect standardised, longitudinal clinical data and biological samples in 20 centres across Europe.
