NCT ID: NCT00915811 Terminated - Clinical trials for Myelodysplastic Syndromes

Pilot Study of Reduced Intensity Haematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation in Patients With Poor Risk Myelodysplastic Syndrome (MDS) and Acute Myeloid Leukaemia (AML) Utilising Conditioning With Fludarabine, Busulphan and Thymoglobulin

FB-ATG
Start date: June 2007
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to determine the safety and feasibility of conditioning with fludarabine, busulphan and thymoglobuline in patients with myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS), myelodysplastic/myeloproliferative disorders (MDS/MPD) or acute myeloid leukaemia (AML) undergoing haematopoietic stem cell allograft with granulocyte colony-stimulating factor (G-CSF)-mobilised peripheral blood stem cells (PBSC) (or bone marrow) from HLA compatible sibling donors.

NCT ID: NCT00915278 Terminated - Clinical trials for Advanced Non-Hematologic Malignancies

A Safety Study Of A Monoclonal Antibody Against A5B1 Integrin In Solid Tumors

Start date: September 2009
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

Dose finding study of the MoaB PF-04605412 directed against the alpha5beta1 integrin. Main objective is to define the MTD (maximum tolerated dose) or MAD (maximum administrable dose) in cancer patients pre treated or unresponsive to standard therapies.

NCT ID: NCT00913510 Terminated - Multiple Sclerosis Clinical Trials

Efficacy of Clean Intermittent Catheterization (CIC) in Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Patients With Bladder Dysfunction

Start date: December 2009
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The aims of this prospective, randomized study are: - To assess the effect of clean intermittent catheterization (CIC) - To investigate if MS patients will have symptom reduction (urgency, frequency, nocturia and incontinence) when using CIC in combination with anticholinergic drugs - To identify at what volume of Postvoid Residual (PVR) urine, starting CIC improves bladder control and QoL - To increase the evidence of CIC, and support clinical guidelines of bladder management in MS patients

NCT ID: NCT00911027 Terminated - Prostate Cancer Clinical Trials

SonoVue Guided Prostate Biopsy

Start date: February 2009
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

This is a phase III European multicenter, open label, prospective study to assess the diagnostic accuracy of the use of SonoVue contrast agent to guide prostate biopsies in comparison with the current practice of ultrasound guided systematic biopsy. The trial will involve 15-20 European Centers.

NCT ID: NCT00910494 Terminated - Rectal Neoplasm Clinical Trials

Intraoperative Radiotherapy for Rectal Cancer Using the Photon Radiosurgery System

Start date: January 2010
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The investigators would like to test the safety and efficacy of intraoperative radiotherapy (IORT) in rectal cancer using the Photon Radiosurgery System (PRS).

NCT ID: NCT00907764 Terminated - Clinical trials for Coronary Artery Disease

Stress Echocardiography Study With Regadenoson

Start date: April 2009
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

Regadenoson is approved in the US under the brand name Lexiscan for myocardial perfusion imaging. This study will test whether regadenoson is an appropriate stress agent for stress echocardiography.

NCT ID: NCT00902785 Terminated - Clinical trials for Age-related Macular Degeneration (AMD)

A Study Of Early Markers Of Choroidal Neovascularization

Start date: March 2008
Phase: Phase 4
Study type: Observational

Identify early markers of choroidal neovascularization (CNV) in the fellow eye of a patient with CNV in the other eye due to age-related macular degeneration with the expectation of being able to identify patients in need of intervention.

NCT ID: NCT00900146 Terminated - Clinical trials for Diabetes Mellitus, Type 2

Dose Finding, Safety and Efficacy of Monthly Subcutaneous Canakinumab Administration in Metformin Monotherapy Treated Type 2 Diabetic Patients

Start date: April 2009
Phase: Phase 2/Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

This was a four month dose ranging study followed by a 24 to 48 month extension at the selected dose to characterize the safety and efficacy of the injectable IL-1B (interleukin 1, beta) antagonist canakinumab in the treatment of patients with Type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) already treated on maximum dose metformin.

NCT ID: NCT00895297 Terminated - Clinical trials for Chronic Myeloid Leukemia

Efficacy and Safety Study of Dasatinib in Patients With Chronic Myeloid Leukemia

Dasatinib
Start date: February 2010
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This is a phase II efficacy (indicates the capacity for beneficial change or therapeutic effect) and safety study of Dasatinib in patients with relapsed Chronic Myeloid Leukemia (CML) following a Stem Cell Transplant (SCT) and who are not benefiting from other treatment, such as imatinib therapy. A relapse is when an illness that has seemed to be getting better, or to have been cured, comes back or gets worse again. A total of 50 patients ≥18 years of age will be registered on the trial.
